Beautiful Lobby but uncomfortable sleep
The highlight of our 3 day stay was the super courteous service of the bellboy. The lobby terrace area is beautiful, but when your sleep is jeopardized that doesn't matter. The double bed is made of two twin matteresses that have toppers. The toppers kept sliding off the mattress and the the mattress kept slipping off the bed. Also, even with the slightest movement, the headboard would bang against the wall as it is not attached but stands loose and unstable. The slipping of the toppers kept causing the glass tops of the night tables to slide off, making you constantly cautious that anything else on it wouldn't fall off. On top off all of this, a lot of water would accumulate on the window counters in the room and the bathroom, causing our toiletry bags to become wet and there was even water build up on the back wall of the bedroom facing the parking lot. We were in rm 329. We were originally offered rm 103 but that shower stall was tiny and old. This hotel has a lot of potential but a lot more attention needs to be placed on the quality of the sleep in the rooms.

We asked for a room facing the city on the top floor and we got it! Great view of Garmish. Big bathroom. Window over the shower/bath which could open and look out over the city while in the shower. Be sure to check out the breakfast, it was amazing: tea bar, salmon, eggs, breads, jams, so good. The hotel is not downtown, we had to drive into town for dinner.
Well first of, there is no air conditions in any rooms. Horrible stay. When temps reach 40 it is very hard to breath and sleep in this hotel. To make matters worse, cannot leave windows open at night because fruit fly's, buts, spiders invested the room. Had to move out into another room at midnight. Then there were no amentie's in the rookm, such as coffee, coffee pot, tea, milk, sugar. Nothing. Very basic for the cost. Went down for a meal and paid 48 euro's for buffet. Terrible. Cooked the food before 6 and it was still sitting there after 8 pm. Same case with the breakfast. Cooked it before 6 am and it sit s there til closing.
- gesperrter Balkon wegen Einsturzgefahr
- Verkehrslärm in Kombination mit unzureichend dämmenden Fenstern
- zu wenige Liegen im Pool/Sauna-Bereich
Pro:
- Sauberkeit
- freundliches Personal
- Frühstück
- Aussicht aus den Zimmern
Fazit:
