Small cozy cottage in a stunning landscape

I had a wonderful time in the Hacienda La Palma. The cottage is cozy, well equiped and gives a stunning view over the landscape and the sea. The area is beautiful and quiet, but driving there takes some time.The caretaker, Christian is very nice and helpfull.

Want somewhere peaceful and relaxing, this venue certainly offers. Beautiful pool and amazing views

This property is off the beaten track about 20 minutes from the nearest town. The roads of La Palma consist of many hairpin bends. We stayed in the El Mirador which has beautiful views out to sea and amazing views of the sun setting and the night sky full of stars. If you want to be away from the crowds , this is the place to go. Thank you to the staff , especially Christian who was very helpful in suggesting places to visit and things to do.

Absolute high fidelity to description, simply unique

The property is really a "coup de coeur" , houses are all very cozy, extremely well equipped and comfortable. Stuff is friendly and available all time. We enjoyed the pool, the hot-tub under the stars and the house telescope. Far from any crowd (count 15-20 minutes to the closest village by car). Puntagorda is a very nice village. La Palma is the kingdom of trails and trekking, stargazing, nature, wild see and vulcanic beaches. We've been happy there, que viva La Hacienda!!!

El Mirador. Magnificent panoramic vistas from the sitting_sleeping and deck areas. Amazing skies.

The smiling welcome from Christian settled us in comfortably after a long day travelling. The studio was intimate and we had all we needed. Sitting above the pool area is serene with superb views down to the sea_quite magical. The gardens were a surprise of colour and varied plants_quite magical_credit to Benjamin. The solitude broken by birdsong and the scuttle of small wall lizards in the sun_quite magical. We enjoyed a few good walks from the paths leading out from El Mirador. The profusion of colourful wild flowers along the roads and paths was a delightful surprise. And when the clouds swirled in above the cool green pine forests above our cottage the effect was quite mystical. All-in-all we had a good and varied holiday. The peace and quiet. Exercise both walking and swimming. Buying local produce in the atmosphere of the mercadillo. Good to cook the local foods. Restaurants we visited were of high quality_quite often German operated. The scenery driving around the island is breath-taking. No straight roads_only hairpin bends. Nothing on the flat_only steep hills. All interesting and you get used to this after a day or so. There was surprisingly little traffic and people around in April/May. Everything was elegantly understated. Very few things in life are perfect_ this place had a good shot at perfection.

Toplokation für Astrofotografen und Wanderer

Sehr gute Vorabinformationen, insbesondere zur Corona-Situation und später auch zur Vulkansituation. Die Mitarbeiter auf der Hacienda waren stets hilfsbereit und trugen mit diversen Tipps zum Urlaubserfolg bei. Die Lokation ist zwar etwas mühevoll zu erreichen (ein Allrad-Fahrzeug mit viel Bodenfreiheit ist sicherlich eine gute Empfehlung) einmal angekommen allerdings ein Traum für Astrofotografen und ein toller Startpunkt für diverse Wanderungen. Als Bewohner der Großraumregion Stuttgart mit all seinem Lärm habe ich die Tage der "totalen" Ruhe hier durchaus genossen. Ich kann die Hacienda guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen und werde sicherlich wieder kommen.

Erholung pur über den Wolken

In traumhafter liebevoll gestalteter Umgebung konnten wir uns bestens erholen. Die Hacienda mit ihren individuellen Fincas lud zum Verweilen, Entdecken und Genießen ein. Nach beeindruckenden Wanderungen bot der Pool mit Blick über das Meer und die Wolken eine willkommene Abkühlung. Danke an Christian für die guten Tipps und die netten Gespräche über Land und Leute. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

traumhafter ort und wunderbarer service

wer eine oase der ruhe umgeben von einmaliger natur und unkompliziertem, aber jederzeit verbindlichem service sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. von der vorbereitung der reise über das einchecken, von kleinen wünschen während des aufenthalts bis zur verabschiedung, das wunderbare team betreut und unterstützt jederzeit freundlich und kompetent bei allen fragen und dingen, die aus einem sehr guten urlaub einen einmaligen urlaub machen. die hervoragend ausgestatten häuser sind eingebettet in ein gelände, welches mit viel kompetenz und aufmerksamkeit zu einer grünen oase gestaltet, gepflegt und weiterentwickelt wird. die lage auf knapp 1400m höhe belohnt mit wunderbaren sonnenuntergängen über den wolken, mit ruhe und entspannung und der fähigkeit, schnell den alltag zu vergessen. aufgrund der lage wird ein mietwagen empfohlen, welcher mit erhöhter bodenfreiheit ausgestattet ist.

Absolute Ruhe und Entspannung

Die Anlage besteht aus mehreren unterschiedlichen Häuschen, die jeweils über einen eigenen, privaten Außenbereich verfügen. Der Garten ist durchzogen von kleinen Wegen und Treppchen, die einen an wilden und gezähmten Pflanzen, Statuen und einer Hauseigenen Bergquelle vorbei führen. Unterwegs kann man sich direkt die saftigen Zitrusfrüchte von den Bäumen pflücken und allerlei Kräuter für ein leckeres Abendessen ernten. Abends, beim Sonnenuntergang genießt man die Ruhe vor dem knisternden Ofen mit Blich durch das Panoramafenster auf die Wolkendecke... und fühlt sich wie Zeus im Olymp. Ab und an flattert ein Wölkchen vorbei und verwandelt den Wald und die Weinberge für einen kurzen Augenblick in eine fast mystische Märchenwelt. Der tiefschwarze Himmel erlaubt tiefe Einblicke in die Milchstraße und Sternenkonstellationen... ich hatte Glück und konnte den Mars sehen. Die gesamte Anlage ist gepflegt, aber nicht überfliegt, die Natur hat hier das sagen. Der Verwalter und der Gärtner sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Jede Frage wird beantwortet, jedes Problem gelöst. Man muss sich jedoch bewusst sein, dass man sich in einer Gegend befindet, in der man ein Auto braucht... am besten einen hochhackigen Automatik. Die Wege sind steil und teilweise etwas rumpelig. Alles in allem ein Ort zum Abschalten und den Alltag abzuschütteln.

De Madrid a La Palma

Terminamos en la Hacienda después de unos días recorriendo la isla, está apartado pero tiene que ser así para poder disfrutar de las vistas y de la tranquilidad. Esta por encima de las nubes donde hemos disfrutado de grandes atardeceres y del cielo de la Palma. Los anfitriones son de diez, muy atentos y amables. Perfecto para estar de relax en la piscina.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr schönes Areal, absolute Ruhe, sehr angenehme Gästebetreuung (danke Christian), ein wunderbarer Ort für Menschen ohne Kleinkinder. Man sollte aber bedenken, dass es Abends in den Bergen kühler ist.

8 Tage im Paradies

Wir haben 8 wunderschöne Tage auf dieser traumhaften Hacienda verbracht. Die Ruhe, der Ausblick, der Sternenhimmel, die urgemütliche Einrichtung von El Mirador inclusive Kamin, der saubere und erfrischende Salzwasserpool und nicht zuletzt die überaus freundliche Betreuung von Christian, Benjamin, Marika und Gudrun vor Ort haben den Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Havre de paix au dessus d'une mer de nuages

Gîte très "cosi"avec une vue magnifique. L'environnement du petit chalet est des plus agréables. Nous avons également apprécié la gentillesse de Christian et des autres personnes qui s'occupent des locations. Vraiment une excellente adresse.

Besser geht es nicht!

Alles wie beschrieben, keine negativen Überraschungen, gute Kommunikation vor der Anreise, netter Empfang und ausführliche Einweisung in das Objekt und Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gut erholt. Die Lage ist top, der Sternenhimmel ist einmalig. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, selbst W-Lan war einwandfrei. Vielen Dank!

Ein Ort für alle Sinne

Wohlfühloase!!

Ich war eine Woche im schmucken kleinen, gemütlich und charmant eingerichteten "El Mirador" und hab mich rundum wohl gefühlt. Die traumhafte Aussicht bei einem Glas vom leckeren Hauswein begleitet vom knisternden Kaminfeuer, der grandiose Sternenhimmel, die abgeschiedene Lage, welche ideal zum Entspannen einlädt und die supertolle, sympathische, hilfsbereite Gästebetreuung durch Christian und co machen die Hacienda La Palma zu einem Wohlfühlort par excellence!

Traumurlaub in Traumlage

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub im August 2019. Das Mirador ist für 2 Personen/ Paar ein wunderbarer Ort zum entspannen und relaxen. Wer die Ruhe und einen atemberaubenden Blick in die weite schöne Natur mag, ist hier genau richtig. Nach einer schönen Wandertour in der Umgebung kann man sich wunderbar im Pool vor Ort noch eine kleine Abkühlung holen und die Sonne genießen. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit noch einmal wieder.

Ruhe, Natur und ein toller Meerblick

Ein toller Ort, hoch über den Wolken. Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Das ganze Anwesen lädt zum Entspannen und Träumen ein, Wanderwege beginnen am Haus. Wenn man etwas braucht, ist so sofort das Servicepersonal zur Stelle. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
