"We loved this hotel. We felt extremely welcomed from the moment we arrived. We had a great lunch on the patio before checking in, then had a great Fondue dinner inside after hiking the Panorama trail (the highlight of our entire trip). Breakfast was excellent as well. We got a forest view room, which while small, was updated and modern and made great use of the space. It also had a very nice view of the chalets on the hill and a group of goats. Will be staying there and in Wengen in the future."

"It was super close to railroad tracks but never heard a sound. The walk to/from train station is steep, partially gravel and you have to lift your suitcase over the greased cog tracks as you cross. There is a nice hike to Staubbach Falls but the falls were not very large due to it being fall. Workers were nice. Evidently there was a free breakfast but they didn’t share that until we were checking out. "

"This is a wonderful, charming hotel in Wengen. It is an easy train ride from Lauterbrunnen. The gondola to Männlichen is right across the street.There is a Coop grocery nearby and a great takeaway restaurant steps away. The room was very spacious with a 1 queen bed and a set of bunks with black out curtains. The view of the Alps from the balcony was stunning. There was a lovely spa included with the stay that had a swiming pool, steam room, sauna and outdoor fire pit. The only negative thing I can say is that the spa closed at 8pm, so we missed it on our first night. We loved staying at this hotel."

"This hotel is a hidden gem! Newly renovated and opened, this historic hotel is upscale, luxury, and surprisingly affordable. We were a little hesitant since it didn't have lots of reviews yet, but this was the best place we stayed in our 2 weeks traveling through Europe. Great location across the street from the train station in Murren, or a 10-ish minute walk to the tram on the other side of town. The hotel also provides free transportation to the tram if requested. The staff was very professional and accommodating to my requests and the rooms were clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, and had STUNNING balcony views. Wow! Seriously the hardest thing to leave behind. The breakfast was 10/10 with a full buffet of options (hot and cold) plus ability to order omelets and waffles from the kitchen as well. The breakfast was included in the room rate and was fantastic. The hotel had a very nice spa but didn't have a pool or hot tub on site, so they give you a access card to the community center across the street (connected to the hotel via a tunnel). I enjoyed swimming in the lap pool and there was a hot tub indoor and outdoor as well. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed every moment. I would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. Staying in Murren is a special experience since the town is up on the cliff and away from the valley. It is easy to leave a car in the parking lot at the tram station if you have a rental car like we did. We'll be back!"

"We were visiting Zermatt for the day so we decided to park our camper van. Well we felt like a real bed and a shower and this hotel did not disappoint! The bedding was so comfortable. The rain shower was a dream! And the heated floors were lovely. Also so close to train station! And wishhhh we hadn’t already eaten dinner because the Italian restaurant looked incredible. But we did have a nice cocktail before bed. Staff was very friendly and all spoke English. "

"The rooms were clean, the staff was FANTASTIC, we had a Mountain View that was breath taking, the breakfasts were outstanding! The only negative was the smaller bathroom but I am 6’ 1” tall. Just GREAT overall."
