The room was clean and quiet! The front desk staff were fantastic and very helpful.Siobhan was very helpful with route planning and the clerk that was on in the evening helped us with mailing some things! So close to everything, fantastic stay!

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they were able to check us in early. The location was perfect! Please note that there is no lift and you will need to carry your luggage up the stairs if your room is on an upper level and parking is off site and you will have to pay for parking nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location right in the heart of the Latin Quarter! The rooms were small (as the name suggests) but well maintained. We were amazed that you couldn’t hear the noise from the street from where we were staying! The staff was also super friendly, helpful, and accommodating and offered great suggestions for things to do in and around the city! I would highly recommend this hotel to solo travelers/couples (or folks willing to get comfy with friends) looking to stay near the traditional pub scene in Galway.

Our stay here was excellent. We came for the Oyster Fest and wanted to stay somewhere centrally located so that we didn't have to drive, and The Snug Townhouse exceeded our expectations. The staff, especially Rory the manager, (he went above and beyond what you hope for in assistance), were extremely helpful and accommodating. We stayed in many places during our two weeks in Ireland and Rory and the Snug Townhouse were right at the top of the list.

We arrived in Doolin to see the cliffs by bus, without a car. Martin was kind enough to allow us to self-check in, get us in touch with the local taxi staff, and on the morning of our departure, drive us to the bus station that we’d be starting off from. Overall property was well-maintained and modern.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Snug Townhouse. The room was definitely snug, but it was comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering the fantastic location right in the middle of Quay Street. We loved being able to step outside and immediately be in the heart of Galway, with restaurants, pubs, shops, and the waterfront all within easy walking distance. The location really couldn’t be more convenient for exploring the city. A great choice if you want to stay right in the center of everything!

Clean and in the heart of Latin quarter/center of Galway. Good experience other than the property is quite noisy as it is facing multiple bars that are quite lively and don’t close down until 2am.

Very good location if you want to hit the pubs and shops. It is loud - but they provide ear plugs. There is AC so you can keep the window closed. Tight space but perfect for just sleeping while you are visiting. Very new and clean.

This place is in a great location with lots to do around you. The room had everything we needed and the shower had great water pressure. We didn't hear the noise from the street at all. The receptionist was very friendly and check-in and check-out was a breeze.

It’s right in the middle of the action on Quay Street. Earplugs are provided. But a $15 white noise machine blocked out all the noise. The front desk staff is the most helpful I’ve ever encountered.

The Snug lives up to its name, the rooms are clean, air conditioned and very small but quite cozy for a couple or an solo traveler. It sits in the heart of the very busy and vibrant Latin Quarter and parking is four blocks away. Perfect for people who want to step outside get straight into Galway's attractions. Staff were friendly and very helpful in guiding us to things to do. No restaurant, so you will be on your own for meals. But coffee shops open at 8 and there are several within a block or two.

The best location. Right in the middle of the Latin Quarter. Steps from bars, restaurants, and live music. A small room but it has a great shower and comfy bed.
