If you are in town for the beach, a wedding, or just a relaxing getaway, this home is the place for you. This recently renovated home has wonderfully open space and room for everyone to stay comfortably. If it turns into one of those extra hot Texas summer days, it has a cool relaxing pool right in the back. Located one block from Garten Verein on Ave O, this centrally located home can be your base for all of your island adventures. Come relax, take a dip, and see what the island has to offer!

A Gem For Sure

If you're looking for a home that blends classic charm with modern convenience, this older beauty in Galveston is an absolute delight. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by stunning wood details that add warmth and character. Inside it feel like a home with history and soul.One of the standout features is the generous layout—three bedrooms come with its own full bathroom, offering both privacy and ease for residents and guests alike. In addition there is a fourth full bathroom upstairs and a half bath downstairs. And let’s talk about the amenities. We did not use the pool as the weather was too cold at the time. The master bedroom has a sun room which we closed off so everyone could enjoy. It was an ideal spot for morning coffee or a quiet evening hangout. With ample space throughout, you never feel cramped—just relaxed and at home.Location is another huge plus. You’re close to Pleasure Pier and all the excitement of Galveston. Whether you’re looking for entertainment or simply a scenic stroll along the shore, everything is within easy reach.Overall, this home is a rare find. It’s rich in character, packed with comfort, and perfectly situated for enjoying all that Galveston has to offer. If you love an older home with history, space, and charm, this one is sure to win you over.

Private COMFORTABLE rooms and bathrooms for everyone AND a pool!

Great communication with the owners! Beautiful home! Very clean and well maintained! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out! Enough bathrooms that nobody ever had to wait. Beds were VERY VERY comfortable with quality bedding. Smart TVs in every bedroom and living room. Huge closets! Quality furnishings THROUGHOUT the home! Made in America appliances! Well stocked kitchen: pots, pans, utensils, coffee, etc! Nice sized pool with an 8ft deep end! Charcoal grill available for use. Nice outdoor furniture and sitting area. Ceiling fans in all of the rooms and additional cooling fans/units available. Which is good, because it gets hot upstairs in the evenings. (Not unheard of in South Texas, but it is worth mentioning) Overall, we would love to stay here again and HIGHLY recommend this property!

Great house in a great location

Overall the house was great and was in the perfect location for exploring Galveston. We had more than enough room for our group and the pool was awesome.

Group Wedding Trip

A few couples found this to be home for a few days while in town to attend a wedding nearby. The house was amazing , help was excellent and host communicated promptly on everything. Would love to come back during summmer with families and children! *****
