    4-bedroom home with pool, in the heart of Galveston’s East End Historic district



    The Space:

    Escape to this charming home in the East End Historic District of Galveston Island, Texas. The house is perfectly located about a mile from the World famous Pleasure Pier, Stewart Beach OR the newly renovated cruise terminal. You can actually see the cruise ships when they are in port from the second floor front porch. Once parked, you may never need to get in your car again for the duration of the stay. The best restaurants and shops on the island are just a few blocks away and is the main reason the owners bought the house.



    The backyard is a resort style oasis with giant lounge chairs and cushy furniture, on a brand new deck, surrounding a small cocktail style plunge pool. The pool has a splash pad and stadium steps, for easy access. There’s large patio umbrellas to provide shade when the sun is particularly hot. Bring the pups as the backyard is completely enclosed by a tall fence!



    If you do leave the back yard oasis and venture to the beach, included are Tommy Bahama beach chairs and fat wheeled cart to lug all your gear.



    There’s a King bed in the front bedroom and Queen beds in the other two nicely appointed bedrooms. The fourth bedroom, with the trundle bed, is a kids paradise with a 46” Sony LCD TV and an XBOX ONE game console. Downstairs in the family room is a 65” Sony TV with plenty of seating for family movie night. Both TVs have access to all the streaming services and live TV via Xfinity 800mbs internet service.



    The well-equipped kitchen includes modern appliances such as a fridge with an automatic filtered water pitcher, professional stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave and more for making meal preparation a breeze.

The house was great! I love old houses and this one has been kept up nicely. The pool was chilly (March) but great for the kids. Location was awesome. Safe neighborhood, walking distance to downtown and the medical center. A few things to note/could be improved upon: 1. There is a keurig but no kcups.2. We only had 1 toilet paper roll per bathroom (no extras)3. The kitchen could have been better stocked with more pots/pans/plates, etc4. There were only 1 dishwasher detergent and 1 laundry detergent. If the property management could stock a little better, this place would be the best. thanks for the great stay!

Weekend Getaway

Beautiful home in historic area near the Strand!!! Close to restaurants, Starbucks and Convention Center! Clean, spacious and offers a pool! If you have kids, please note that there is a quiet time after 10:00 pm and the neighbor next door will definitely let you know it! Plenty of curbside parking. Vacasa will also require an identity check so if you get a separate email to confirm your identity for rental purposes don’t be caught off Guard!

Exceeded my expectations and an absolutely an amazing house

This house was beautiful! The outside was amazing the inside was totally gorgeous made you feel like you were royalty! The beds were so comfortable we all slept like babies and the pool was perfect! The location of the house is close to everything you never needed to go far to get whatever you needed. Definitely will stay here again best girlfriend weekend ever!

Best weekend ever! Stayed with my best girlfriends for my 50th birthday. I had never booked a stay before however the process was extremely easy and the check-in and check out were flawless! The house itself was amazing had everything we needed was beautiful and super clean. We hung out at the pool all day long. The neighborhood was really nice and close to the Strand. I highly recommend this house it was perfect!

This house lived up to everything we read about and more! It was so charming but also offered modern upgrades. Parking out front was never an issue and there was extra gated parking in the back if needed as well. The beds were super comfy and AC worked great! The king sized master bedroom was gorgeous with a beautiful armoire. There were two additional bedrooms with double/full beds comfortable for couples and a small room with a trundle bed perfect for kids with a tv/gaming system. The pool was a little chilly this time of year but once you got over the initial shock it felt great! We loved being in walking distance to the Strand, Post Office St., and the Original Mexican Cafe. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and admiring all of the homes and their individual character. I recommend this house to anyone visiting Galveston and looking for a unique place to stay. We had a fantastic time!

Clean and fun

The house was great and appreciated the multiple fans that were provided throughout the house. Everything was close and/or within walking distance. The pool was a great way to keep Littles entertained. We did reach out asking about a grill and one was not in the property. That same day the manager of the house stopped by with a grill for us to use which we really appreciated. House was big for our family of 6 traveling and really enjoyed our experience.
