Tucked into the quiet seaside community of Terramar Beach, Big Kahuna is a newly remodeled home with a fresh and modern vibe. The home is located on a deepwater canal just 2 minutes from the beach and has tons of spacious, sun-drenched deck space, an outdoor shower, a boat slip, and a charcoal grill. There’s enough space at Big Kahuna for up to 20 people— so invite the whole crew to join you for an unforgettable group getaway to the Texas coast.

Modern Beachy Living:

The soaring, two-story, contemporary living area has plenty of space for your whole group to unwind and spend time together. Plush, overstuffed sofas face a flatscreen television that’s mounted to a crisp white shiplap wall. Kick back here in the evenings with some snacks and a favorite movie. Glass accent tables and stylish armchairs complete this comfy, modern space.

The kitchen is laid out in an efficient u-shape and features quartz countertops with a tiered peninsula bar. Flip a stack of fluffy banana pancakes in the mornings, or mix a batch of frozen margaritas at happy hour— the kitchen is fully equipped to handle it all. The bar space has seating for four people, while the dining table has seating for eight. A powder room and laundry room are located around the corner.

Four Ensuite Bathrooms & Fifth Bedroom Downstairs:

Down the hallway from the living area, the master bedroom has a king-size bed. The attached ensuite bathroom has a separate shower, soaking tub, and marble-topped vanity.

Upstairs on the third level, there are three more bedrooms— each with their own private, attached bathrooms. The first bedroom has two queen-size beds, a twin-over-full freestanding bunk bed, and two twin-size built-in bunks. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, a built-in twin-size bunk bed, and access to the third-floor deck space overlooking the canal. The third bedroom on this floor has a king-size bed, a twin-over-full size bunk bed, and a built-in twin-over-twin size bunk.

Catwalk to Canal Views:

Brew up some fresh morning coffee and take your mug outside to the deck. Stay on the attached deck space or walk across the short catwalk to the free-standing deck over the boat launch. With views of the sparkling canal and quiet neighborhood, you’ll spend most of your time here. Sunbathe on one of the chaise lounges or stay in the cool shade on the Adirondack chairs.

On the ground level, another bedroom has a full-over-queen built-in bunk space, flatscreen television, and a bar top table for card games or board games. Outside, there’s an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day of fishing or hanging out at the beach. The covered dock space has a slip for parking your boat. Make sure to bring your fishing gear— there’s great fishing in the canal. And the Terramar Beach access point is a quick 2-minute drive from the home.

Community Amenities: Guests have access to the Terramar beach community pool— open Memorial Day thru Labor Day— and the boat launch and marina with the provided keys.

Beach Access: The Terramar beach access point is a 2-minute drive away.

Pet Policy: Up to 3 pets are welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if planning on bringing your furry friend!

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

House Maximum: Groups larger than 18 must be approved by our team. We love hosting church groups, family reunions, etc., but must approve groups larger than 18.

Age Requirement: You must be 24+ to book.

Other things to note
There are security cameras on the exterior of the home (none on the interior) for the protection of our guests and for monitoring when the home is vacant.
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 16 would need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- No jumping or diving into the canal
- No Fishing from the upstairs decks
