Riverfront with Pool & Grill | Canyon Creek Lodge

Famous for its small, quaint charm, Galeton offers a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This property is within a half mile of Galeton's Waterfront Park, offering its visitors a chance to enjoy the beauty of Pine Creek while taking a stroll through its spacious park.

Take advantage of the property's various amenities including a large outdoor fire pit and gas barbecue for grilling up your own delicious meals, a game and workout room for some evening entertainment, and a kid's friendly climbing wall for all the adventurous ones.

There is parking for 5 vehicles - 2 in the driveway and 3 in the cut in gravel area across the road which is also part of the property.

Canyon Cruise, kayak and canoe Rentals (8.5 miles, towards Wellsboro)
Cherry Springs State Park, a very popular spot for stargazing (12 miles away),
Pine Creek Rail Trail Darling Run Parking Access, fun for biking and hiking (14 miles)
Colton Point State Park, providing hiking trails for the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon (16 miles)

A split level house with ample room for sleeping and relaxing.

Guests have access to the whole house.

The host will not be present during your stay. If you need anything please communicate via the booking app.

Pool maintenance will be carried out on Mondays and Thursdays. Access to the house will not be needed and guests do not need to be contacted.

Located in a quiet neighborhood with room for walks, trips to the local riverside park, and local shopping.

You will need your own transportation
No automatic Sunday check-in. We like to give our cleaners a break that day. If needed, please request it and we'll see what we can do.

Perfect place for a family renuinion!
This was the perfect place to host our small family reunion. There was plenty of space and amenities for 9 adults, 4 kids, and a baby. We liked the many small tables and spaces for hanging out and playing games. The basement is an awesome hangout space with a pool table, air hockey, rock wall, table, and futon. The outside space is great too. There are enough patio chairs for a larger group. The pool was extremely clean. In the garage there was a nice selection of pool noodles, floatation rings, and pool toys. There is even a small air compressor for putting air in said toys. There's a nice big yard for sports. The bed rooms are very nice and far enough away from the common spaces that poeople can stay up later and not disturb those who are sleeping. The rooms were spotless and modern. The beds were comfortable. There were blinds but no black out curtains for those who need it dark. There was a plethora of pillows, blankets, trowels, and toiletries. The kitchen is very well stocked. We were easily able to cook for our group. One thing negative worth noting is that the dining room table just barely fits 12 people. But the kitchen which is in the same room, has a couple of bar stools. We would love to stay here again!

Lots of Room
We had a great stay at this house. There is plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was very well stocked. There was plenty of towels. We would recommend this house for a big family vacation.

Great place!

Amazing stay!
The place was very clean, nicely arranged, comfortable, and perfectly located. The host pays attention to all of the little details, and the place is well stocked with anything you would need. We would definitely love to come back!

Family vacation
Great place, so many rooms and baths. The pool was great during the hot days. Very clean and the owner responded within hours with any questions. Will stay again. Even seen a black bear run though the back yard. The ac was in only the bedrooms but with all the doors open it made it comfortable. We were outside all day anyways.

Great weekend getaway!
We were just looking for a place with a private pool to spend a weekend with our kids. This was perfect! The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed while we were there. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Enjoyed our stay
The house was clean and there are plenty of towels. Unfortunately the only air conditioning was in two bedrooms. There was no propane gas for the grill and it was a little hot cooking inside. The creek was a little hard to get to as the steps could have used clearing. Overall we had a good week visiting family.
