Staff were wonderful and welcoming and we were upgraded to a room with a balcony. Views across the water were lovely! Also, very walkable to restaurants and the Montagna and the medieval town. Unfortunately, construction/renovation within the hotel (top floor?) started around 8:30am and was quite disruptive. We had already been woken up at 8am by the loud 8am daily flag raising ceremony at the US naval base across the street.

Good value, helpful staff

This hotel is well-located and easily-walkable to little shops and cafes. The price was fair for the room (and breakfast!) and we got a room with a balcony which was lovely. The staff was all super helpful and even accomodated our strange requests including helping me figure out how to use the washer/dryer. Thanks so much for a nice stay!

Very conveniently located, walking distance to medieval city and restaurants, super friendly staff. There is a free shuttle to the beach and Agostino will take you there in no time. Ideal for sightseeing and exploring Gaeta and also going to the beaches . There is also a small gym with latest Technogym equipment on third floor, to workout with a dramatic view over the bay .

Great location and staff

We stayed her on a road trip through Italy and we were very pleased with our experience. The hotel staff went above and beyond and assisted us in planning our walking tour of the city. Gary’s is such a beautiful place and everything was lit up for the holidays. I mean they went all out. The hotel is located directly between the old and new towns and we were able to walk to both with no problems. Our only complaint is that the pillows are only pillows in the most academic sense. They were more like bath towels wrapped in a pillowcase. And thin bath towels at that. The rooms need a serious upgrade in the bedding department. However we would definitely stay here again given the convenient location, private Parking and outstanding staff.
