Right in the centre of Funchal, next to Mercado dos Lavradores, this fantastic building offers all the convenience for a group of up to 12 people.

Set in a building that once housed an old Madeira Embroidery House, the property is divided into six independent rooms, each named after a well-known Madeira Embroidery stitch. With modern and functional architecture, each room features touches that recall the island’s embroidery heritage. Each room has a double bed, bathroom, and fully equipped kitchenette, accommodating two people.

Guests can enjoy a pleasant terrace on the top of the building, complete with a kitchen for preparing meals, as well as a laundry room.

AREA
LOCATION
Just a few metres from this property is the Anadia Building, a shopping centre featuring a variety of shops, cafés, restaurants and a supermarket, situated in a prime central location right in the heart of Funchal. Just a short walk from the Farmers’ Market and Funchal’s Old Town, from here you can explore the various tourist attractions of our beautiful city on foot (for example, the Cable Car, Funchal Marina, the CR7 Museum, the Cathedral, the Madeira Wine Lodge, etc.)
Just outside the building, there are excellent connections to the local bus network and across the whole island, covering both the east and west, so you won’t have to walk far to make use of these services.

PROPERTY RULES
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.

The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property.

In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes.

Municipal tourist tax (when applicable):
€2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival.

Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability.

Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge.

By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions.

OTHER NOTES
All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.
