Hotel is in a great location, next to the train station, close walk to the ferries, and across the street from the water. In addition, close to shopping, restaurants and a Rewe store. Has a dry sauna & wet (wasn’t working during my stay). Hotel staff friendly and helpful and spoke great English. Breakfast was excellent! I would stay here again!

Fantastic place and very helpful staff

Fantastic place, with excellent all over service and morning restaurant. The hotel is placed central in Friedrichshafen, and close to everything. Even Though we were on the train station, you couldn't hear the trains ore any other trafic, so perfect place, if you want to explore Bodensee. All the Staff are very friendly, speek english and fantastic helpful, if you ahve questions. We drive electrical car, and it's possible to recharge your car in the basement. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

I am an American and I like many things about the hotel as a tourist. The breakfast is of good quality, and offers a good selection of German foods to try out like the excellent breads, meets, sausages, and cheeses. In addition to more tame options like bacon and eggs. The location is excellent, right next to the main train station, parks, some shopping, and various restraunts. The museum is not too far either. The staff are friendly, have excellent english, and are always helpful. Also, if you are lucky enough to get a room overlooking the lake and park, the view is amazing! I have stayed many times and I can not say enough good things!

Our room, 310, felt like a prison cell. It had a balcony with a door at the corner of the room, but only small windows just below the ceiling with very little light coming in. The litghting in the room is LED with no possibility to dim it. This, it is not very cozy. The staff is very friendly and professional.

I was given a very warm welcome when I arrived at the SeeHotel. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful with my questions. The room that I was allocated had probably the best view over the promenade and shoreline of Lake Constance that is available from this hotel. (Room 422). Although I only used the restaurant once for an evening meal, the food was cooked very well and delicious. The inclusive buffet breakfast was also excellent, with a large selection of everything that you could wish for, for the first meal of the day. Even hot Bacon, Sausages and Scrambled eggs which in my experience is unusual for a European breakfast which usually only had cold meats and cheeses for breakfast. The town of Friedrichshafen is compact, mostly modern architecture, and easily walkable from the hotel, with olny gradual slopes, (no steep hills), and with the bus and main railway stations directly outside the hotel entrance, probably the most convenient hotel to stay in, in Friedrichshafen, (in my opinion?). There is also a free shuttle bus that takes you from the bus station, to and from the Messe exhibition halls, and the harbour. I stayed for three nights while attending the annual Ham Radio convention at the Messe Exhibition Centre and would highly recommend the SeeHotel as a great and excellent value place to stay.

BIG ROOM with OLD style tiny TV & VERY unfriendly

Room was nice big and lots of empty space but strange NO COFFEE MACHINE – NO KETTLE - NO Iron Board – was told go to fifth floor via small room with one Iron Board there, our Room on second floor had ONE bottle water – NO NOT free or NOT a welcome service as many places – NO 2.50 EUR. Best service Last day in the breakfast room with a very service minded and helpful guy (in practice)(from Vietnam) He will be a goldmine for the hotel if they keep him and sent him to reception area where they need welcoming and friendly tone for check-in/out customers (read non German speaking)to help. Reception not welcoming and friendly and very slow even there were 4 people to check-us in after 3PM since our room was NOT ready. Wow have you heart about check-out time 10am? And still want RESORT fee to be paid at arrival! If we compare to the Hight level of price we paid and VERY low service in room etc. we cannot recommend to stay here – best with the hotel was location a short jump from HBF.
