Whether you are looking for a quiet couple retreat, or a place to share some fun in the sun, then Angel Fish at Surfside Beach is it! Our 1-bedroom home is a short walk to the beach and is completely updated with all new appliances, fixtures and amenities to give you a beautiful and clean staycation. Surfside Beach is a quiet and safe community with its own private beach, an outstanding fishing pier, a splash park for the kids, and local eateries.

We had a great stay!! Check-in info was sent promptly and was easy to follow. Location is perfect — I’m partial to the Yucca beach access, so we went there, but there’s easy access to the beach and the jetties. Umbrella and towels were provided, and everything we needed was in the kitchen! Bed was comfy, air conditioning kept us cool, and the bathroom had a huge shower with provided shampoo/conditioner/bodywash. The hosts were lovely and responsive when we couldn’t figure something out, and we were sad to leave!

Wonderful stay in this sweet little beach house. Decorated so cute and cozy. Had everything we needed and more! Wonderful hospitality. Excellent communication with host, always prompt in responding and so kind. There is a cute sign in the bedroom that says "Let everything you do be done in love"...I don't believe it's hung there just because they needed something to hang on the wall but because it's the way these hosts live their lives. Beds were super comfortable. I personally slept on one of the pullouts and enjoyed it very much. We are a family of 5, with 3 older teenagers and had plenty of space. Great location. The area is so quiet and peaceful. The people of Surfside are so friendly. Enjoyed every interaction with the local people we encountered in shops and restaurants. Highly recommend The Jetty Shack, Seahorse Bar & Grill and Culture Coffee! Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Stay had some issues

1. No umbrella on deck that was pictured. 2. Deck railing was broken in many places.3. In shower shampoo/bodywash/conditioner supply was broken.4. The bbq was pictured fairly new..it was a mess.5. A/C in bedroom leaked on floor and had to put pot to catch water and towels to clean total leak. Which made the bedroom have extreme humidity!

Cute cottage

My husband and I were in Surfside Beach to do some fishing. The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us. There were many thoughtful touches throughout the unit that contributed to a pleasant stay-big fluffy bath towels, extra toilet paper and paper towels, plenty of bedding, clear checkout directions, to name a few.We mentioned a couple of maintenance issues to the host that they were probably not aware of. They indicated they appreciated the communication and would address the issues for the comfort of their guests.We would definitely stay here again.

It was very nice, although I think the stairs and the patio could use an uplift as far as replacing with new wood parts like the small gate and the patio, but the inside of the house was very clean and very nice.
