Come check out these 3 bedrooms plus loft and 2 full baths in a well-appointed 2 story beach cottage ready for your island and fishing excursions! Sleep up to 11 guests comfortably and located conveniently off Bluewater Highway near the Bay. Fat Grouper welcomes you with a private driveway right off the main road. Convenient location on an expansive corner lot with plenty of parking. Bring your boat, and park it at the house with easy access to the subdivision boat ramp just 2 blocks directly behind the house. You may enjoy crabbing at the neighborhood pier. Since the house sits along the county beach, you also have easy access by vehicle onto the sand or approx. 8-10 minute walk to the shores of the Gulf of Mexico! After getting your toes in the sand, enjoy the hot and cold water in the outdoor shower to rinse off and refresh. Beautiful water views and sounds of the ocean and waves while relaxing in custom deck chairs! Dedicated coffee bar with both styles of coffeemaker, whole house water filtration plus additional RO faucet in kitchen! Fat Grouper is ready for your family and friends!

It is very nice house that has wonderful view. Equipped with all the necessary items in the kitchen and comfortable beds. Short walk or a quick drive to the beach. Only thing we didnt like a water had a rusty smell to it in all the sinks and showers. We brought our own water for drinking and cooking so it was ok. Overall would recommend to stay for a quick family getaway.

Beautiful, well maintained and organized

I almost hate to go on about how amazing this property is. I want it to be available next year. But hands down this is the BEST beach house I have had the pleasure of staying in/visiting. It was so nice to stay somewhere that didn't feel like a frat house. So many details that made staying here convenient. Having baggies available for leftovers. Filtered water, a water cooler, and ice maker. A neat bean bag game in the living room. An added feature was the ground level laundry and space to store our doors, back windows and freedom top. While we didn't spend much time in the house, it was so nice to come home to a cool house and not have to fight with window units. This truly is a hidden gem, that clearly won't stay that way long. Didn't take any pics, but photos on VRBO clearly represent the home as we found it.

4th of July 2024

We were meeting friends in Surfside to celebrate the 4th of July & found this place right down the road from them which was perfect. Great place! Beautiful view of the beach, everything was clean & very welcoming. Plenty of room for our family. We were even able to add another day to our stay last minute . The host was very accommodating! Would definitely stay here again!

Great house for a weekend stay

My son and his bride got married at seahorse bar & grill. This house was a perfect location for the family that stayed. had all the amenities we needed. If we come back to the area we will rent again. Thanks for sharing your house with us.

Excellent Property - Fun, Clean, and Convenient

Took my family for a quick weekend away in Surfside and so glad we were able to book this home! The location was convenient- walkable to the beach (about 8 minutes) or quick/easy drive over. We also loved walking over to the bay for sunset- it was gorgeous! The house was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. They had all of the necessities covered like games, grill, ice maker, and coffee. Thank you for an incredible stay!
