Conveniently located just 13 miles from Fredericksburg’s Main Street and the 290 Wine Road, the Y Knot Cabin is also a quick 10-minute drive to the historic town of Luckenbach. We wanted a really quiet place to stay for a weekend getaway, and Y Knot Cabin did not disappoint. Randy & Michelle were very communicative throughout the entire weekend (in a positive way, not an oppressive/pushy way). The property is lovely, and the cabin was just perfect. The kitchen was wonderfully well stocked (oils/seasonings/honey/dishware/coffee pot/pots & pans), and the fresh eggs in the fridge were a really nice touch. All of the linens were in good shape, the bed and furniture was perfectly comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here and talked about wanting to return (which seems to be a common theme from the other reviews and the guest book).Thanks!

Randy’s cabin is a total gem! Exceptionally clean, spacious, and with beautiful views. If skies are clear you will have spectacular stargazing opportunities and you will see deer - lots of ‘em - all over the area. It’s located about 20 minutes from Fredericksburg so you can enjoy that quaint town and then sleep in the country, with the windows open, and enjoy the sounds of the nearby rooster doing his thing each morning- but not too loudly. Randy is a superb host and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Highly recommended!!
