Birthday eclipse

Hosts were as friendly as can be in order to respect privacy of guests. We got an unanticipated crustless quiche that stretched to a couple of breakfasts. My birthday was on the day of the solar eclipse and Billy insisted on getting me a birthday cake and even went gluten-free for dietary needs. Wildflowers were abundant and beautiful this time of year. Chickens and deer roam the property for entertainment value.

Amazing place to stay!

We had the best experience ever! The cabin was gorgeous and had everything we needed. The location was great and very peaceful and only a short 18 minute drive to main st to do some fun shopping. Everything about this cabin is flawless. It makes you feel right at home and we loved every bit of it. The host Billy was so kind and helpful and made us feel very welcomed. We will definitely be back to this cabin soon and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for the perfect location and peace and beauty all in one. Thank you Billy for everything and we will see you soon.

Willow Retreat

Enjoyed our stay. Host was very gracious, stocked our refrigerator with lots of wonderful breakfast items. Bed was fabulously comfortable. Drive over to Fredericksburg was very scenic. Loved sitting on the front porch each evening. We saw several deer. Would stay again next time we make a trip back to Fredericksburg.

Treats & Chicks

The ranch road leading up to the property was lined with wildflowers in abundance. The cabin greeted us with a spacious wooden front porch which led us back to a nicely adorned interior. Yummy treats awaited us in the fridge, breakfast casserole, homemade muffins, orange juice, water. There was coffee, and other assorted snacks as well. A fun experience was walking with the chicks (chickens) and gathering eggs from the henhouse. The hosts were wonderful. Peaceful is all that I can say about our stay. We’ll be back.

Thank you for the Anniversary Upgrade - it was outstanding!

Everything that we expected

The cottage was everything that we expected. It was clean and modern. It fit me and my husband for our anniversary get away from the hustle and bustle of a large city. It had everything we needed. It was quiet and relaxing. It was awesome to be greeted with an anniversary cake, bowl of fruit, breakfast casserole, and snacks. So hospitable and made us feel welcomed. I have no complaints. Our stay was cold and wet with rain but it did not hinder us from doing what we set out to do. The cottage is very warm. Fredericksburg is a nice place to visit. The drive is nice from the cottage to town. At night be careful with the deer. They were all over especially in the middle of the highway. I highly recommend this place.

Quiet and Relaxing

This cottage was a nice retreat after spending time in the hill country. We stayed for 5 nights and always looked forward to come back with some wine and unwind after being out. Great amenities and finding breakfast items in the refrigerator was a welcome touch. Thanks again!

Anniversary weekend

This cottage was very unique situated on 20 acres outside of Fredericksburg about 16 miles. We met the owner of the property when we checked in and he told us to feel free to explore and hike along his fence line as he keeps it mowed which we did every morning. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the cottage as it immediately gave us a feeling of home feeling and upon opening the refrigerator they had left us with a small cake with chocolate covered strawberries placed around the cake, 4 muffins, an egg casserole that only had to be warmed up in the microwave, fresh fruit of strawberries, grapes, melon, in a bowl and 6 individual orange juice plus water! Such a lovely gesture! All in all we had a lovely get a way weekend to Fredericksburg! Thank you for your hospitality! We may be back some day!

Quiet and Peaceful

Our Bella cottage was clean and tastefully decorated. Our hosts thought of every amenity! From yummy breakfast items to a sweet cake to celebrate our anniversary! We enjoyed the ride from Fredericksburg through the hill country and our deer visitors.

Perfect Hill Country Cottage

From the Check-In through Departure, everything was great. The cottage was exceptional, very clean & comfortable and located on a large acreage that is very relaxing . Owners were very nice & helpful and available as much as requested. I recommend this Rental.

Great Weekend Getaway

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at this great country location. The space was very clean, warm and inviting. We were able to get some much needed rest during our four night stay. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. We will definitely return in the future. Frederickburg is 17 miles away, but this was not an issue for us. The drive into Frederickburg includes a well maintained ranch road and beautiful country scenery.

Perfect getaway

Extremely comfortable and attractive, this is a great place to get away and slow down. Enjoy silence under a big dark starry sky and feel all tension disappear. Hosts were great. Next time we'll stay longer and use the fireplace and grill.

Fun get away

Perfect private get away! The owners went above and beyond providing a breakfast casserole, muffins and fresh fruit in the fridge upon arrival. It was just what we needed! The night sky is gorgeous!

Great way to getaway

We loved staying at the house. It was a perfect distance from Fredericksburg, giving us a short trip to the wineries but away from the hustle. We brought meals too and the kitchen made it easy to warm up simple dinners. Billy was extremely responsive to our questions and needs.

Amazing Retreat

Our stay was perfect. The room was beautiful and sparkling clean. The homemade breakfast and snacks were out of this world. We came out to enjoy the stars and were not disappointed! Would recommend this location to anyone who wants to get away from it all!

Quaint!

The Owners were welcoming, it felt like our second home! Inside was clean and well stocked. I had a birthday cake waiting for me on arrival!! Such a nice feeling and surprise! We cooked outside on the grill one night and it worked out great (they supply the grill, charcoal, fluid and lighter)!! Overall, it was a great experience!
