Welcome to Erna and Elgin’s Haus, an adorable and historical home, once on the edge of Fredericksburg city limits, this historic home has stayed in the family from generation to generation. This charming historic home still boasts much of its original architecture, ambiance, and antique artifacts of our proud local German heritage! This beautiful house is private and has a gorgeous backyard area, perfect to unwind with a glass of wine after a long day of exploring Fredericksburg.

The Erna and Elgin's Haus has a fully equipped kitchen, a formal dining room surrounded by multiple antiques, two spacious living areas, one of them providing you with a daybed, two spacious bedrooms with comfortable king-sized beds, and two bathrooms give plenty of room to enjoy a great stay and have a good rest! This beautiful home also provides you access to two bathrooms, one equipped with a gorgeous antique tub, perfect for a weekend of relaxation. You will love drinking a cup of coffee and watching the sun come up from the two front porch swings.

-Parking instructions: Two off-street parking spaces are available. Illegally parked vehicles are subject to tow
-The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present.

Easy Check-In Process
We use Happy Guest for a seamless, app-free check-in experience. Just complete your rental agreement, ID verification, and a simple refundable security hold of $1,000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction) to receive your arrival instructions. If you'd prefer, you can opt for a Non-Refundable Damage Waiver instead, which provides coverage up to $1,500. The waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.50 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. It’s simple: finish these steps, and you’re all set to enjoy your stay!
