    The Space:

Sheryl’s Place by Tiny Away sits in Fosterville, just 20 minutes from Bendigo, where wide paddocks meet treed ridges and the Wellsford Forest wraps it all in green. The tiny house sits 50 metres from the main home, giving you your own patch of land, sky, and silence.

It’s a base for low-key adventures: bike the O’Keefe Rail Trail, cool off at Lake Eppalock, or dig into Bendigo’s gold rush roots at Central Deborah. At night, the stars shine brightly, and the forest ambiance lulls you into a restful night's sleep.

The 139-square-foot tiny home includes water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and gas heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.

    The Neighborhood:

Sheryl’s Place by Tiny Away sits in Fosterville, just 20 minutes from Bendigo, in a part of Victoria where bushland meets backroads. The area is defined by its undulating ranges and a gold-mining past tucked just west of the Campaspe River. It’s a region with grit and character: dirt trails, old digger routes, and locals who still wave from passing utes.

The O’Keefe Rail Trail runs nearby, connecting Bendigo and Heathcote with tracks built for bikes, boots, and big thinking. Go fishing at Rocky Crossing, swim at Lake Eppalock, or head into Bendigo for underground tunnels at Central Deborah Gold Mine and expansive lawns at the Botanic Gardens in White Hills.

Explore the best of Bendigo and surrounds during your stay, with local dining, shopping, and outdoor adventures nearby. Enjoy pub meals at Drovers Arms Hotel in Goornong or Axedale Tavern, and pick up essentials at Epsom Shopping Centre, home to Woolworths, Aldi, and Dan Murphy’s.

Discover Bendigo’s top attractions, including Lake Weeroona, the Talking Tram, Bendigo Art Gallery, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Rosalind Park, and the Central Deborah Gold Mine. Clean & well presented. Down side, a bit cramped inside, and the toilet a bit hard to deal with. A lot of rain during our stay so the birdlife was minimal.
