Great cabin! It had plenty of room and well equipped with everything needed for our stay. It was in a great location. Nice fenced in yard. We enjoyed our stay!
The cabin was amazing. The amenities were great, but if you need a coffee pot, they only have a Keurig that was a big deal to my girls and they don’t have a pitcher for iced tea if you make that.. but I will definitely book again and refer this place to my friends. The host was spectacular. She gave great directions and detailed information and super sweet.
The property is exactly how the photos are. Absolutely beautiful. The only bad part is the windy steep hills to get to it but is within a 25 minute drive for food, shopping and site seeing. Highly recommend for large families!!!
7 ladies stayed for 4 nights at this wonderful lodge. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, pool table, beautiful la escaping. We had an issue with one of the doors, and the manager came right out and fixed it/)
We had a great overnight stay at Little River Retreat. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and close to outdoor activities. Thanks for making it available!
The property was a great place to relax after a day of golfing in the Gadsen area. Although a little bit of a drive, it was well worth it. The house is well stocked with everything you need plus great recreational activities like billards, board games, hot tub and fire pit. Our group very much enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of the location.
For our vacation we could not have had a better experience. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful. The lodge was absolutely fabulous. Pictures just don’t do it justice. Must see in person to appreciate it all.
Great family get away. It felt like the middle of nowhere, but Rainsville and Leesburg are close. Our family enjoyed Little River Canyon falls, park with playground and a swimming hole, the Hatter cafe in Mentone, Desoto Falls and park, and Pirates Bay in Leesburg. My grands called it "the fancy cabin". It is an extremely nice cabin. Clean, well stocked, plenty of room, well thought out. Communication with owner was good. Clear directions on check in and out. The hardest thing about this cabin is getting to it. There are 2 or 3 ways up the mountain, be sure and get specifics from owner. Thanks for a good experience.
The Lodge was beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit! The guys liked the pool table. Beds all slept great! Kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots and pans! The power did go out for a few minutes and we lost internet connection…once power was back on we sent one message to the owners and we had the internet back up and running to finish watching the football games. The cabin gives full Smokey Mountain vibes! We will be back!
We hosted a retreat here with 10 ladies. We were all very comfortable with plenty of room to roam and gather. We had an issue with water pressure, but it was quickly repaired. Great communication with the host! Downside, it was a bit dusty with cobwebs in the less obvious places, but I’m sure that will be corrected. It was a bit hard to regulate the temp; cold downstairs and hot upstairs. Maybe a box fan would help? Overall a great place to stay. We hope to go back!
We needed a few days away as a family and this did the trick. The pool table and the well equipped kitchen were hits for us. Secluded, but Orbix Hot Glass and several parks and trails are a short drive away. Appreciated the responsiveness of the host. We would stay here again.

We were not prepared for the drive into the rental. We were pulling cargo trailers and the design of the road is not trailer friendly. The upstairs beds need new mattress. There isnt quite enough utenils for a 8 person stay.
Our multigenerational group of 11 (grandparents, adults, older teen, and kids ages 6-12) felt so comfortable and relaxed in this lovely cabin. There was plenty of space to spread out but the common areas were so welcoming for family time. Kids and grandparents couldn’t get enough of the pool table upstairs and the coffee bar was a convenient touch. We found board games to play with downstairs and watched a bit of tv. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking and the huge dining table worked well for our large family meals. The beds were comfy and each floor had several bathrooms. Even the cabin decor was a huge hit—lots of fun pointing things out to each other. Our favorite was the beautiful view from the back porch, we enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub, as well as some late-night star gazing. Two nights was not enough! We definitely appreciate how responsive and attentive the owners were during our stay.
