The condo was nice and fit our needs for 5 adults. Right on the beach, easy access. Nice views, but the lanai is screened in, which seems to be common in the Ft. Myers Beach area.
The location is at the north end, which was just a few minutes walk to Bowditch park where you can walk around the northern tip of the island to see the bay side or the gulf side. The pier/Times Square is about a mile south, within walking distance if nice out, but not if you go in the summer months with high heat and humidity. Parking in July wasn’t a problem at all. Lots of restaurants around Times Square.
The property management company was great with communications. We even received a credit to use to rent beach gear during our stay.
Water sports rentals are right next door in front of Pink Shell Resort, making it easy to rent wave runners, parasailing, paddle boards, or book dolphin tours.
The gulf is calm in this area, with tons of sand dollars. Great place for younger kids as there really weren’t any high waves, and the water is shallow.
