Fort Martin Scott Historic Site

The best thing about this hotel is the location; near the Riverwalk! Otherwise, the air seemed stale and we immediately were congested within 2 hours of being there. The front desk is available on demand with a buzzer for them to come to the front. No parking onsite at $30 a day next door ( not bad). Food and water in vending machine. It’s suppose to be a historical hotel but I didn’t see anything special about it including the decor. The toilet ran; I fixed it because housekeeping is every 3 days👎

My comment is specific to the valet parking services this hotel offers (through a third-party company Towne.com). I visited San Antonio from out of town, and I picked this hotel because its location and reviews. I decided to use the valet parking service, and the driver hit my vehicle causing some damage. The Towne.com staff was apologetic and told me they were going to work with me to either have the vehicle repaired or work with my insurance company. I was told the staff was going to submit a claim and that they would contact me. To date, I have not received any follow-up call nor anyone has contacted me. I will definitively NOT RECOMMEND using this valet parking services (Towne.com) at THIS OR ANY OTHER HOTEL they serve.
