"This is a lovely little hotel in a quiet area of Bergerac but very close to the railway station. My room was very comfortable and clean with a good bathroom that was also very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good. I would definitely stay there again."

"Whilst this was only an overnight stay, we were so impressed that we are already planning our next trip to include the La Gambetta. Perfectly located in the centre of Bergerac, with everything you need within a very short stroll, there's not much more you could ask for. Fantastic service and attention."

"Fantastic holiday in a great house, the facilities were excellent and the house very well equipped. We were a family party of 12 adults, but the house, pool area and gardens were big enough to still feel spacious, with large dining areas inside and outside. The house would also be great for families with children. Claire and Kieran were very helpful, and always responded quickly to any queriesThe local towns, particularly Eymet and Bergerac are beautiful. Thank you!"

"Booked a room for seven nights, but checked out after the first night. It was incredibly hot that week, around 105 degrees. The room had no air conditioning, or fans. The windows could not be open during the evening because there were no screens in the windows and with the mosquitoes and bats flying around that was not an option. It was cooler outside than in the room. When I decided to check out the following day the staff were apologetic, but there was nothing they could do. The resort, as of now has not offered a refund for the remaining six nights."
