Beautiful Wooded Dream Cabin Backs Forest

Walking into Timberloft you immediately are taken aback by the great room's soaring tongue and groove ceilings and expanses of vaulted windows overlooking a beautiful back yard and then out into the untouched forest. Tiled throughout, the great room stays cool in the summer, and the radiant in-floor heating along with a floor to ceiling rock fireplace keep it cozy all winter. A stunning rough-cut log beam spans the width of the house, combined with over-sized wood trim and rustic decor to show the mountain character of this amazing cabin. When the french doors swing open to the untouched forest beyond, you are sure to feel like you are in your own private mountain oasis.

The rustic-yet-modern kitchen has beautifully crafted Alder wood cabinetry and sleek black granite counter tops. With stylish stainless steel appliances and all of the accouterments, this chef's kitchen is a joy to cook in. With dining area seating for 8, the group can enjoy a wonderful meal together in this open and comfortable space.

As you meander to the downstairs sleeping quarters, you find the beautiful Master bedroom with king-sized bed, comfortable lounge chair, and private bathroom with dual sinks. Across the hall is the queen guest bedroom, and a separate bath with walk-in shower.

Making your way up to the loft living and sleeping area, you'll find a comfortable open space with plenty of seating, and a smart TV perfect for those movie nights! There are two twin bedrooms along with two pull-out trundles to making a comfortable place for four to sleep. There is a washer and dryer available for guest use in the loft as well.

Just minutes from I-17 and I-40, and surrounded by a variety of dining and shopping options, the Timberloft Cabin is the perfect home base for all of Flagstaff's attractions. The Arizona Snowbowl is a quick forty minute drive, and offers world class skiing at a family friendly resort. Grand Canyon is a short drive North, providing some of the most beautiful scenery in the country.

Beautiful cabin

This cabin was perfect for our overnight stay, wish we’d stayed longer. Especially liked the fully fenced backyard with grass. The cabin was clean and very comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood. Definitely recommend!

My daughter graduated from NAU, my family was there to celebrate with us. Had a small get together and the place was perfect! Weather was exceptional and the VRBO was just perfect for our gathering. Will definitely book this place again.

Great spot for family and small dogs

Cool weather

My family and I decided to get out of the heat and enjoy some cozy cabin relaxation. This cabin was absolutely perfect for us, and my golden retriever was in heaven!! I will stay here again!

Nice cabin in the woods

Cabin was looking into forest land so very peaceful. Neighborhood is a little less than desirable but once you are in the cabin and sitting on the patio, nothing else matters.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mountainaire. Had never stayed in this part of town and it was perfect. Quiet, surrounded by natural beauty, friendly neighborhood. Great place and great view of the forest!

Clean, comfortable and great yard for the dog. Excellent view of the forest and easy access (at end of street, 2 houses away) to miles of forest hiking/biking trails. Quiet neighborhood and only 5-10 minutes to Flagstaff/NAU. Will definitely book again.

Great Escape

Had a great time with my 3 year old son at the cabin. Great access to the woods, trails to hike and off-roading. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and large enough to easily accommodate 2 adults and 3 children.

Really maintained and nice property

This cabin was a really nice stay and was really well kept and organized. The backyard has a nice hangout spot and the indoor spaces were very comfy and warming. The surrounding area has some really nice trails and is fairly close to flagstaff so grocery shopping was also quick and easy. They also had a lot of hygenic necessities provided like hand soap, towels, shampoo and bodywash so not much was spent on anything other than food. Only recommendations I have is if a bread toaster was added and a full size baking sheet for the oven was supplied.

Spring Break in Flag!

Beautiful cabin with great loft! Such a great escape from Phoenix to enjoy the snow. Huge bonus is the fact that property backs up to National Forest. We only had one issue understanding how to work the Hulu on the tv, and the property management was super responsive sending someone out to assist. I would recommend to families that are looking for a quiet getaway to the pines that don’t have a need to be super accessible to downtown. Although it is a fairly easy drive to downtown Flagstaff.
