It's a wonderful location and the balcony offered a beautiful view of the ocean which is about a 5 minute walk! Rooftop bar, excellent place to stay!

Spotless. Staff was so kind. Made our first stay so enjoyable that we came back again a few weeks later. Walk out the door to Flagler Beach... paradise.

I have low rating for terrible experience with front desk manager and staff. Beware if you are one of those who have food restrictions or with kids & may need a microwave. None of the rooms have microwave. Additionally, there is no microwave in common areas. So if you have has food restrictions or byo food, do not book this location. We checked-in during evening and carried our own food due to food restrictions. We called front desk and spoke with one of the evening staff who notified us about the lack of microwave in rooms or common areas. When we shared our restrictions, they said they can help with a microwave in employee lounge and can help warming up the food whenever needed. Rest assured we went to sleep. In the morning, while checking out we asked them if they could warm the food, they said they cannot and its against company policy! Either they were lying or their own employees have no knowledge of their policies. They were not even that We had 3 microwaveable container for food for 2 people. They said out of courtersy they will only warm one container. When we asked why not all 3 since it didnt make sense to us if they could warm food of one of the containers. When asked, the front desk manager lady with her rude response said, you know I wont help with even one of them now. Horrible attitude being in hospitality buisness. Even when i shared my restrictions there was no flexibility from the manager. Room was also not thoroughly cleaned and had mouldy smell.

We enjoyed our stay. Loved the central location, places were within walking distance. The hotel and room were clean and the staff was friendly and the breakfast provided was good. The one thing that could have been better was the live music on the roof top. We were there over a weekend and both nights the two people performing were not all that great. Even despite the live music being poor the roof top restaurant on that Saturday evening wasnt all that inviting, poorly lit and a bit chilly since the propane heaters werent set up. We actually saw a few people get up and leave. Some of the other surrounding restaurants had much better atmosphere and entertainment and were drawing in the crowds.

Clean Room, Great Location, Freezing pool and no hot tub. This was a good stay, everything was clean and good. I like the location most, easy access to the beach a block away. The pool was insanely freezing! Not heated at all and it wasn’t even cold outside! Hot tub would have been nice, definitely missed the mark on the hot tub.

No BS review Location great but it’s very expensive for what you get. We had a good time but there lots of room for improvement for the price paid. Room was spotless but had a musty smell spray air freshener fixed that. Drinks and food are expensive and they served my a girlfriend a VERY VERY VERY undercooked hamburger They made up for it with a couple free drink vouchers we couldn’t use cause it was our last night there.. house keeping service our room once in a 4 day stay. Friday night the room top music don’t cut off till 1am and you can hear it clear on the second floor Good luck sleeping The Tv only has 48 channels to choose from so if yours stay is rained out good luck keeping yourself entertained! The hotel is nice and convenient but plenty of room for improvement!! I’d say explore your options and make the best decision for your needs Would I stay there again Yea maybe depending on the circumstances of holidays and time frame All in all we had a good time.

We stayed in a room with a balcony that overlooks Veteran’s Park and the ocean. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. It was very relaxing. Many great Flagler Beach dining options are in walkable distance. Great location.

Everything is great! Very nice staff, great restaurant. I can’t believe the price of the rooms for what you get and breakfast made to order at no extra cost. Love this place will be my only hotel each year starting next year in my visits.

I cannot give enough stars to rate my wonderful experience, here at The Compass Hotel. EVERYTHING was top notch!! The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful and maintained. Perfect location, as you can walk to all the shops, restaurants/bars and the beach. The rooftop restaurant/bar has an awesome view. Really enjoyed our delicious meal and adult beverages!! 😏🍹 We will definitely be coming back, for another weekend getaway!!
