Weekend Away

We had such a great time during our long weekend up in Door County and we were so grateful to have such a wonderful spot to come back to for a pause if needed. Great communication and clear expectations.

Great Stay!

Two couples and a pet stayed for 4 nights. Check-In was super easy, owners live near by. Great kitchen with a lovely island to sit around, cook and with tons of pots, pans, dishes, coffee pot, toaster and even a crock pot. Owners did not miss a thing. Beds were comfy, nice fresh linens and towels. Plenty of room and would for sure stay again with this decent price point.

Beautiful home

Great jumping off point for Door County. Very nice, clean home with plenty of space. Loved having the backyard yard firepit for an evening fire and s'mores. Enjoyed Sister Bay, Ephraim and Fish Creek - nothing is to far away. Eagle tower was beautiful! Great place to stay. Quick response when the weather unexpectantly got a little warm and we wanted to sit outside. Thank you for the use of your lovely home!

Very nice!

Very nicely decorated and clean property. We enjoyed having the fire ring in the backyard and the tables in both the back and front to sit out and enjoy the nice weather. This property is as described in VRBO. Don't let the proximity to Hwy.42 scare you away - it's a great location and the highway noise at night is minimal. We'd stay there again!

Excellant stay

The house is very clean. Has a well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable A good supply of towels. Very pretty landscaping and a nice big fire pit with supply of wood, Doreen has thought of just about everything you will need for a great stay. Very good communication if you have questions. The house is in a great location. A quick and easy drive will get you any place you want to go. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay. Plenty of room. Clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Had majority of meals there. Would recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Highly recommend

Had a wonderful stay here and added a day to see more of Door County. Doreen was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to questions. Clean place, full stock kitchen for cooking and great backyard.

Orchard and winery location

The owner was very responsive in communication and the home was very clean and convenient to all of our shopping, dining and hiking activities. The backyard fire pit was secluded and enjoyed by all 4 adults and our golden retriever. The only draw back was the proximity to the highway

Fish Creek Fun

We stayed at Doreen’s place with friends over a long weekend! Great location! Accessible to everything on 42! Overall the house was great, the host was friendly, and we loved our time spent both at the house and exploring door county!

Perfect Location, Clean & Comfortable

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and cozy. It was nice being so close to town. We enjoyed nights by the campfire and appreciated the grill and seating area outside. Beautiful garden and potted plants. Would definitely stay here again!

Fish Creek

My Husband and I enjoyed our stay at this house. It was a good location for us with many family members close by. The house provided many little things you "might" need. Even though it is a two bedroom, the game provides extra pull out beds. The flowers outside are very beautiful, it is obvious this house means a lot to the owners.

Location, location...

Clean place, everything you need, central to what we wanted to do. Close to Peninsula State Park. Walked across Hwy 42 for wine tasting and a band. Dog friendly. Would stay there again.

Holiday Weekend

My family enjoyed the property. There was plenty of space for the five of us and it was very clean. Just a short drive into Fish Creek. The "game room" with additional sleeping space was a real bonus. The host checked in without prompting and was very helpful. We hope to be able to stay here again!

Great Location

The house was really nice, and very clean! It's in a great location, right around the corner to downtown Fish Creek. It's also not to far from all the other little towns. Loved the big yard, to take my dog out. I would definitely recommend this house, and would stay again.

Great home base for exploring Door County

The property was clean with ample room with a nice back yard and fire pit. The home’s appliances were up to date and worked well. This property works great for a home base while visiting Door County.

Quaint cottage Fish Creek

A comfortable home for a family vacation. Fish Creek is an adorable town. Located .8 miles from downtown and right across the street from a beautiful winery. Fairly easy bike into town down the backroad. Not far from Egg Harbor, Bailey Harbor & Sister’s Bay. The cottage is good for 4 adults and a couple kids in the bonus room. The owner was very responsive if I has questions . I would rent again.

Excellent Location withg Great Host

This place is very nicely located within walking distance of an orchard, and about 3 min from Fish Creek and maybe 10 min from Egg Harbor. The house is well stocked - coffee maker and Keurig, every pot and pan we could need, a nearly excessive amount of plates, cups, and silverware, blankets, pillows, and towels - everything. The kitchen even had a good spice rack, a few k-cups, and aluminum foil. The outside grill is massive and in good working order - we had no issues grilling the couple of nights we did. The house uses window AC to help keep it cooler and they work well. We were never uncomfortable temp-wise and the backyard was plenty for hanging out and walking our two dogs. The best though has to be the host - she was like lightning with responding to any issues. We ran out of paper towels and, no exaggeration, she was there with two rolls within 10 minutes. We also had a minor issue where we needed to flip a breaker and she texted back within minutes of the location to fix it. All together, with how nice the house was prepared, how nice it was to stay, it's location, and the host I am glad we ended up here during our stay in Door County and would gladly recommend this place to anyone!
