  • Reconnect with nature at this secluded, comfortable, cozy and unforgettable pet friendly escape (please register your pet), nestled by a beautiful brook and (incredibly) right next to The University of Findlay campus. A-frame with loft bedroom offering a queen size bed (plus additional sleeping options), air conditioned and heated with mini-split HVAC as well as a wood burning stove and electric baseboard heat, large deck, patio, grill, secure electronic lock and exclusive use of the 24' diameter above-ground SUMMER pool and deck. The other unit has exclusive use of the hot tub. Fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom with shower, two TVs, laundry room and free high-speed internet. Professionally cleaned.

Another Great Stay

This is the second time we have stayed in this chalet and we loved it just as much and it snowed! We stayed in the other side this time and accommodations were just as good as the last time. We were in town for a track meet for our son at U of Findlay and this home is walking distance from campus.

Short get away

We had a wonderful stay, it was quiet despite being in town it had the feeling of being secluded. The owner came and cleaned the pool each day and was available when we needed him. Also the beds were so comfortable the best I have slept on.

Our stay was amazing! Super neat A frame....nicely decorated. We were very comfortable. Location was great near downtown Findlay, but yet you felt like you were in your own private escape in the city....nice pool area with loungers...patio area with lots of room to relax...horse shoe pit...large yard for our dog all surrounded by a creek, mature trees & landscaping.

Great Getaway

Had a wonderful time hanging out after a day of shopping and adventuring around. The pool, grill, and deck are well taken care of and gave us plenty of room to relax. The inside is snug and a great place to unwind at the end of the day. The owner was gracious and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. We will be panning to stay here when in this area again,

Girls Weekend

Little get away for myself & 3 daughters. At the last minute we included 6 year old & 9 mo . old Granddaughters . Paul was accommodating to the last minute change. Loved the pool. We would definitely come back.

This was the cutest, quietest, most perfect chalet for my nearly 3 month stay. I loved watching the squirrels play and chase each other. It was fall so they were also collecting nuts which was super cute to see their cheeks always full. There was also a neighborhood cat that came around quite often that I befriended. She loved to chill on an empty patio chair and keep to herself. But after awhile she warmed up to me. I needed that since I was missing my dog who was back home with Dad. If I ever make my way back to this area, I know exactly where I'll be booking my stay.

Weekend getaway

Cozy property. Location was good for restaurants. Quiet and peaceful for summer. The pool was perfect to relax and float. I wasn’t crazy about the spiral ladder to the loft when descending. Wear pajamas not night gowns so you can watch your foot placement when descending. The bed was very comfortable. The linens were a very nice quality. I would rent again but maybe bring bedding to sleep on couch.

Great stay with minimal issues in a great area

The house was a great place to stay. It was comfortable and clean. The pool was well maintained and a blast to swim in. There is plenty to do in the area around the home and plenty of great food as well. I only had two issues during my stay. One was the witch stairs. My wife and I thought they were cute but they are unpleasant to go up and down frequently. They also aren't the most pet friendly, our dog wouldn't even consider going up them on his own. The other is that the hot and cold water on the shower are reversed. It was not a big deal though because once I figured that out it never bothered us and I know it can easily be fixed. Otherwise it was an amazing stay with lots to do.

A well-maintained, clean, cozy A-frame house. We stayed for a long weekend and had fun experiencing downtown Findlay. The host, Paul, was quick to respond to messages and even gave us a heads up about an art festival. Great stay - would recommend this property to friends & family.

Great spot!

The trip was only two nights, but the property manager Paul was very attentive, especially considering a tree had fallen just minutes before we arrived! He made sure that the property was still safe and intact, and was a great host!

What beautiful property

The home was clean and had everything you needed just like being home! Was in town but felt really private! The owner was helpful and readily available and came to do maintenance on the pool while we were there! You won’t regret a trip to Paul’s Chalet!

Avoid those treacherous stairs. They are narrow, steep, and wobbly. I actually had vertigo looking down from those. I cut my arm trying to get my carry-on bag up the stairs when I stumbled on the top step and hit the sharp end of the top railing. I immediately texted the owner and he told me where the first aid kit was. Now that's what I call caring for your customers! Wow! I checked out 2 days early (at my loss) because of those stairs. There are other negatives to this property, but the stairs are the main issue. Don't waste your money.
