"We stayed for nearly a week. During our month long vacation in Greece. This place was hands down the most well appointed of spots. The owner has clearly gone through great lengths to make is hospitable. We arrived with a fridge with water, juice for the kids, olive oil, milk to make our morning coffee. "The welcome was basically a key and a QR code. The villa was fine with lovely view and excellent private pool. The awning apparatus needs lubrication and the bedroom shutter is broken. There were only 2 dishwasher tablets and we were expected to buy absolutely every other basic requirement. Nothing provided. The villa is up a very steep hill. The host allowed us to use the washing machine. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The area is fabulous"

"Great hotel in an awesome location. Lots to do on site (swimming, water slides, beach, yoga, table tennis…etc all free, then lots of paid for options such as pastel, mountain biking, tennis, golf). Location was great, lots of opportunity to explore historic sites and natural beauty….not to mention local culture. Lots of on site restaurants but some of the local ones in Gialova were brilliant. The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Navarino

"I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the pool or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature. The golf is excellent, the tennis set-up is disappointing despite the number of courts. Private lessons are absurdly expensive and they have not managed to create a 'Club' feel at the tennis by organising age group or ability clinics which are so important for kids to make new friends. The dining options are very good and the food is of a high standard (although quite a few restaurants were closed by late Oct which was disappointing). The place is crazy expensive - €5 for one Karaoke song or €50 for an hour's padel is not going to encourage people to try it with their kids. The golf is crazy expensive but full anyhow and very well laid on across the 4 courses. The buggy system if you have U18s is tiresome - you have to have a buggy but cannot drive it if you are U18 so if 2 kids play you have to have 2 adults driving the buggies (and they charge you for the extra buggy that you do no "
