2/10 Terrible

"The hotel was so dirty . The bed itself was mouldy and the headboard was all ripped. There was mold and cobwebs everywhere. You have to pay an extra 12.50 for parking. The toilet was half on its side and had to be shared by everyone on the landing. The pub across the road had a live band on until midnight so there was no way of sleeping until then. I’ve never stayed somewhere as bad as this! Horrific comes to mind!"

"Lovely warm welcome at check in and treats for my Labrador who thought it was great. This was my first solo holiday with my dog so was a little anxious but the warm welcome from staff that soon eased. I was given a map of the holiday village and told where to find everything and shown where to find my accommodation and parking. The accommodation was clean, tidy and had everything I needed. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again."

"A lovely house within a beautiful and well equipped complex. The house had everything we needed and more and the on-site pool was great, nice and warm and spacious. We also enjoyed the pétanque court. Filey and Scarborough are really beautiful with huge sandy beaches. I’m hoping to return soon!"

"Myself and my 2 adult daughters had a wonderful short weekend at Waves at the Bay. The house was perfectly situated for a trip along the coast wherever you want to go we visited Bridlington, Scarborough (did the coastal walk - very enjoyable) and Filey on the last day. Had a wonderful Chinese takeaway from the Golden Dragon in Filey, would highly recommend it. The only downside to our visit was perhaps the lack of simple things like a dishcloth, washing up liquid, a couple of dishwasher tablets, perhaps even a few milk sachets or tea bags to tide you over. There was a bottle of handwash in the downstairs toilet but nothing in the upstairs bathroom. These little things would have been appreciated for a short break away but all in all it was a lovely base and we would stay there again."

"Gorgeous clean accommodation, friendly helpful owners, fresh milk every day for rooms, quality ingredients for breakfast, pre ordering process works without any hitch, cozy beds, everything you could want and very close to Filey centre. One consideration is there are alot of steps up to the room but other than that, perfect, will definitely stay again!"
