"The house is in a remodel phase. If you're looking for a budget friendly house on Lake Superior, this is the place. It is no Hilton, yet, more of a Budget Inn. It has so much potential to be an amazing home. Check in was a breeze. Ken responded quickly whenever I reached out to him. Our favorite part was the beach. Quiet and secluded and a rock hunters paradise. We would stay again. "

The WiFi was not very reliable, it’s satellite so it was because of the weather and uncontrollable. A couple of the beds have uneven ware which made them not so comfortable. The TV in one room did not have sound but no big deal as we weren’t there to watch TV. Overall a very nice place to stay for value, location and courteous host. "

"On balance this was a nice stay. It is a very isolated campsite, apart from the other cabins of course. Good for unplugging. The cabin was cute and tidy. The breeze coming in through the windows was nice. The toilet and shower were adequate. Only negative was bugs on the kitchen table and it's not well suited for lake/beach access; there are better options in this area if you're about the beach and water."
