「Overall this was an amazing stay. We had a great weekend. Just for future renters, the space appears much bigger in the photos than it actually is. But it’s perfect for 2 people. It should also be noted that there is a shared entrance and no doors keep you secure from the owners possibly entering. However, the owners of the main home were not present during our stay so there were no issues. They also left us snacks!」

「This location is right across from a golf course so it was quiet. Be aware that at this time (May 5-10, 2024) there is road construction which makes Torrey Road a one way but that doesn't affect how nice this property is. It is a very pleasant house and we recommend it it to everyone. Plus, this location allows pets for you to bring along your fur baby!」

「The cottage was our home away from home for a week while visiting our cousin who is going to school at UM in Ann Arbor. The home is a short drive (25-30 min) from the Big House, so it was perfect for a UM football weekend. If you're looking for a quiet escape with EVERYTHING you could think to need for a week on the lake, this is it. Our family of 5 had an amazing trip out from CA. Can't wait to be back.」

「This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. It is very aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable. The backyard is a perfect setting, with a fire pit right on the water. We sat out there and watched the big swans on the lake. The location was perfect. We attended the Michigan game and the travel to and from the stadium was short and no traffic. There were tons of places to eat that was close by. This property is at the top of my list of places to stay!!!」

「Our family really enjoyed staying here. The property is lake front, perfect 3 ft sandy depth for kids to play all day long. Kids really enjoyed kayaking while the dads enjoyed the aluminum fishing boat. Property is clean with all the amentities needed. The owner is super friendly and is only a call away if needed. I would recommend to all families looking for that upnorth feel without the long drive. We have rented through vrbo for close to 10 years and this is the best one we have been to yet!...

「My two young daughters (8 & 11) and I loved the house. It's tucked away in a small neighborhood right next to downtown Howell, nice and quiet on an inlet to the nearby lake, with everything you would want within 5-10 minutes (groceries, restaurants, pharmacy, etc.).
