"I was impressed with the Maitai Express. Coming to Tahiti I had stayed in a different airport hotel and was extremely disappointed. I changed my reservations on my return to Tahiti but wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised, it was wonderful. Staff was amazing, cheery & helpful. Room was clean, lovely, soooooo comfy & the a/c worked perfectly. You can't beat the location for ferry to Moorea, cruise ship terminal & airport. Also great options for restaurants & shopping within walking distance. "

"The room and bathroom facilities were clean and the bed was comfortable, but no drinking water or tissues were provided. The continental breakfast was good, but it ends at 09.00 hrs, which strikes me as rather early for holidaymakers. No other meals are offered, so guests are obliged to go elsewhere to eat. I walked to the supermarket and bought food to eat on my lanai, but there are also food trucks about a 15-20 minute walk away. Twice during the morning of checkout a maid tried to enter my room without knocking. Fortunately I lock my doors, so she could not get it. No staff should enter any room without knocking and there is no need for cleaners to knock on guest goors before the 11.00 hrs checkout time. "

"Was one of best hostels I've stayed in. Reception was staffed 24/7 with friendly, helpful people. Key card entry to floor, hallway & room. My private room had a double bed & a/c. The restrooms/showers are accessible, clean & private.The community area was clean, had comfortable seating, an espresso machine, teapot & fixings, microwave, water & ice."

"We treasured our stay at Villa Moea from beginning to end. The bedrooms each have a bathroom which offered much privacy. Our family slept peacefully in the comfortable beds. This home is equipped with full size washer and dryer which was convenient. You will enjoy morning and evening swim in the pool. We felt secure with electronic gate. The Carrefour Arue for daily food shopping was less than 10 minutes and only another 5 minutes to Papeete for restaurants and the Marche for lots of pearls, local crafts, local food and flowers/fauna galore. Our family looks forward to staying at Villa Moea again."
