"The room was excellent. The only exceptions are the bathroom door felt like it was going to fall off the hinges, and an open shower is not ideal. The entire hotel was excellent. Loved the pool facilities, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, including the server at the lounge. He even took pictures for us with the moose 😆. The food was great but not the braised ribs. Tiny portion, all fat, and overpriced. "

"This was a cute cabin I stayed at with my father while on a cross country road trip. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. However, we would have appreciated a heads up about there being no towels! The door to the cabin we were in also did not lock. The listing also says sleeps 4 but although the couch is a pull out they do not supply blankets or linens or pillows for this. I really did love our stay here, and wish it was for longer. However, I do wish we knew these few things ahead of time so we were prepared."

"We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Lazy Bear Cabin. Although it’s not right by a beach or mountain, the location was very convenient—just a short drive from the city and not far from Falcon Lake or White Hawk. At first, we were a little concerned about its proximity to the highway, but once inside the cabin, we couldn’t hear any traffic at all.The cabin itself is cute, cozy, and homey, with the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern touches. It was well-stocked with ample towels and bedding, which made our stay extra comfortable. We especially appreciated the added bonuses of WiFi and a hot tub—both of which made relaxing at the cabin even more enjoyable.The hosts were excellent, providing detailed information ahead of time and being available right away to answer any questions or concerns. Their attentiveness really added to the ease of our stay.Overall, The Lazy Bear Cabin was a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-appointed cabin not too far from the city."
