It is situated in the town of Falcon Lake, close to the beach, bakery and other amenities.The kitchen was well equipped; the dining and sitting areas were roomy, and overall we enjoyed our stay.Be aware that guests must bring their own bedding, i.e. sheets, pillows, blankets"

"The physical location of the cottage is terrific! The dock/beach area are excellent too. The cottage is dated and the owner needs a refund from the cleaners. Oven and BBQ haven't been cleaned in years.. There is no indoor access to downstairs from the upper level, entry to the lower level is via outdoors - NOT ideal for a young family. "We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Lazy Bear Cabin. Although it’s not right by a beach or mountain, the location was very convenient—just a short drive from the city and not far from Falcon Lake or White Hawk. "The room was excellent. The only exceptions are the bathroom door felt like it was going to fall off the hinges, and an open shower is not ideal. The entire hotel was excellent. Loved the pool facilities, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, including the server at the lounge. He even took pictures for us with the moose 😆. The food was great but not the braised ribs. Tiny portion, all fat, and overpriced. "
