Nestled in the heart of Carroll Valley, this charming 3-bedroom cabin offers the perfect escape for your next vacation. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy and inviting atmosphere, complete with a crackling fireplace to keep you warm on chilly evenings. Gather your loved ones in the fully stocked kitchen, where you can whip up delicious meals using the provided appliances and utensils. Enjoy your culinary creations at the spacious dining table.

There is so much to do! Interested in golf? There are several courses within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Hiking? Only 10 minutes to the trailhead for the Appalachian Trail. Not to mention the many state parks and state forests. And who can forget Catoctin National Park located right outside Thurmont, MD only 20 minutes away.

There are two community pools located close by. One in Emmitsburg, MD and the other at Caledonia State Park, about 25 minutes away on Route 30.

When you're not exploring the nearby attractions, such as the Gettysburg National Military Park and the Gettysburg Battlefield Museum, just a short drive away, relax on our front porch or back screen porch with your favorite beverage!

Loved the cabin

We stayed in the cabin for our son's wedding weekend. Loved the coziness and feel of the cabin...only wish we had more time to relax and enjoy it. We'd love to return and do just that!

Great getaway

Our favorite spot in the Gettysburg area. The house is peaceful and comfortable, fully stocked and very well maintained. We've stay several times and have never been disappointed. The owners are very responsive, always an enjoyable stay.

Quiet retreat

This cabin is clean, well maintained and spacious! The screened in back porch offered a quiet relaxation spot after busy days. Located a close drive to many good restaurants as well as historic Gettysburg. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again!!

Wonderful stay!

The cabin was even better than described! It was located out in nature, but still close to everything we wanted to see on our vacation. The property was very clean and just beautiful! We definitely enjoyed our getaway!

This cabin was a wonderful "home" for us for a long weekend. We have three children under 10 who loved having a bunk bed to sleep in, DVDs to watch, and games to play. Everything we could have thought of was available. We were able to enjoy breakfast on the enclosed back porch and a fire in the fireplace on our final night. This is a beautiful, cozy cabin with many special touches. Everything was clean, there were many blankets to cuddle up with while using the house fan on a chilly morning, and the kitchen was filled with all the gadgets we needed. If we head back to PA, we'd love to rent this cabin again.

Cozy cabin

We've stayed here multiple times and always have a great time. Very close to Liberty for skiing. Always good communication with the owner and the cabin is cozy and well-stocked. Highly recommend!

Family Get away

Property was absolutely gorgeous. We definitely enjoyed our stay here. The back porch was so relaxing, we loved to come back after a day on the battlefield and kick back and watch the wildlife. We will definitely stay here again

Lovely cabin

Christmas cabin stay

My family and I stayed here to celebrate Christmas away from home. The cabin is beautiful and slept 6 people comfortably. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies. It has a great fireplace and porch. It’s also conveniently located to Ski Liberty and the Appalachian trail. We had a great stay!

Great Cabin - Perfect Experience

My family and I stayed in this cabin for a week. Location was perfect for our tour of Gettysburg Battlefield, Downtown Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry. The cabin was extremely clean and well appointed. We had a wonderful visit!

Great cabin

We stayed here for a moms trip. The cabin was super nice and very clean. It was only an easy 20 minute drive to historic Gettysburg. I plan to come back with my family next time!!
