Waterfront villa in Långstrandsudd: Panoramic views, private sauna, and dock

Welcome to a magnificent archipelago home "Furubo" in Långstrandsudd on Värmdö – a haven of peace and beauty with breathtaking views. Just a drive away from Stockholm, this villa offers an escape into tranquility in the heart of the Stockholm archipelago. Guests can also use the nearby tennis court free of charge, just a few minutes’ walk away!

Built in the late 1960s, the house offers sea views to the south and north. The interior is predominantly pine, hence the name Furubo, while the beams in the living room are likely oak. The open fireplace features stones embedded from the Stockholm archipelago.

The sauna, "Skomakar Olles stuga," was brought from Hälsingland and dates back to the 1800s. This is a converted cobbler's cottage, now a sauna with a wood-burning stove and a shower. From the sauna, you can take the steps down to the dock for a refreshing swim. The jetty is deep enough to jump and dive. A motorboat or a sailboat can moor at the jetty.

The villa has a total of five bedrooms plus a sleep shed.

The house, including the sleep shed, accommodates a total of 14 people. However, it is recommended for a maximum of 8 adults. On the upper floor, there are three bedrooms, each with two beds and beautiful views. On the lower floor, there is one bedroom with three beds and an extra room with a single bed and a bunk bed, accommodating three people. Additionally, the charming sleep shed next to the main house has two single beds, ideal for those who appreciate being close to nature. Please note that this shed does not have bathroom facilities but is conveniently located near the main house.

The villa has three toilets in total, one with a shower, and a separate shower on the lower floor. There is also a separate shower in the sauna. The large living room with a fireplace and dining area offers lovely views and is perfect for socializing. The fully equipped kitchen has both gas and electric stoves and overlooks the sea. On the terrace, there are also two grills available: one gas grill and one charcoal kettle grill.

Next to the villa, there is a glass-enclosed greenhouse with seating for two to three people, also offering a nice view.

Despite its secluded feel, the villa is easily accessible, located just 80 kilometers from Stockholm Arlanda Airport and 40 kilometers from the city vibe of Stockholm. Nearby, by car, you will find shopping at Mölnvik shopping center and a local grocery store in Stavsnäs. Ferries from Stavsnäs harbor take you to the picturesque islands of the archipelago, including Sandhamn for a day trip. The area also offers beautiful swimming spots and authentic restaurants for exploration.
