On the lake AND in the heart of Downtown Eufaula. Walk to shops, dining and the Yoholo Micco Trail from this great location. This historic home was built in 1882 and served as Eufaula's original town jail prior to its restoration as a city park and now a residential home. Eufaula's "Old Town Jail" is currently listed on the national register of historic places and is one of many historic structures in the town of Eufaula. Beautifully restored and renovated, the home still contains its original features, but includes all the modern amenities and comforts. You will not find a more fascinating and charming home than this, and the location can't be beat! Two bedrooms and 1 bath with 1200 sq feet of living space. Several boat launches located within minutes, and plenty of room to park your vehicles and boat. Dogs are welcome with a $50 non-refundable pet fee. Providence Canyon, AKA the Little Grand Canyon of Georgia is approx 20 miles away.

My husband and I booked here with our two frenchies to enjoy a weekend out of town. I loved the gated property and the view we had of the river. Very spacious and cozy

Great weekend getaway

It was a nice peaceful stay! Nice little weekend getaway. The teen loved the fishing and the mama loved the view for a tan. Would highly recommend. :)

Fabulous Weekend

The place is great from the history to the decor. Everything is thoughtfully laid out for a great experience. Wished we could have stayed longer. The view of the lake is incredible and we will most definitely be back. Thank you for the awesome experience.

My sister and I get away a couple times of year just to relax. This facility was perfect for that. I was out walking and came across a house that use to be a confederate hospital built in 1836. I didn't realize we would be in a historic district. We were close to a lot of good eating places so I don't know about the kitchen. I never used it except to make coffee in the mornings. That's what you do on vacation.

A very unique, historical property that overlooks Lake Eufaula. Clean, comfortable, well outfitted, great views and in walking distance to town, where we enjoyed eating at the Eufaula Sandwich Shop and the Cajun Corner.

Amazing View - Great Location

This was a great place to stay, it had the best view of the water and was located a perfect distance to downtown. I will definitely be back and I can't thank Brett enough for his stellar hospitality!

A perfect getaway

We loved the charm and uniqueness of the property. The close proximity to restaurants, boutiques and coffee/ice cream shops was also a plus. The property manager was very responsive answering questions in advance and during our stay. We will definitely book again if we travel through the area.

Quaint Lakeside Cottage

Really neat little place. The nostalgia of the old jailhouse added to its charm. Close to downtown shopping and dining. Providence Canyon is a short drive away and a must when visiting the area. We will be back to stay again.

Wedding night stay

We stayed in preparation for our wedding, and it was the most beautiful view of lake Eufaula. We will be staying again! The host was extremely nice and prompt to one of my late night messages. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Eufaula Jail

This property was amazing. Close to Providence Canyon State Park that we were there to visit. Eufaula has a cute downtown area to also visit and beautiful old homes!! Lots of history. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area and recommend this property for a unique experience!!! On the water with a beautiful view!!!

Old town jail stay

Loved this property, was actually bigger than I anticipated. Views from property out to the lake are beautiful. Walkable distance to downtown & trails. Loved it was pet friendly. The only thing I would suggest, which is minor, is screening in the patio area.

This place is beautiful! Fully stocked with everything you could need. Very clean. I loved watching the sunrise over the lake. We visited some mansions, went to the canyon and ate at local eateries. The locals are so friendly and love to talk about Eufaulas history, let them know you are staying at the old jail and you will learn some fun/interesting facts about it. I did contact the host about extending my check out by a couple hours (i really didnt want to go home) he got back to me really quick :)This was a wonderful respite from big city living. My husband and I will definitely be coming back to the old jail soon!
