Sadly, I would’ve given this hotel a one, but since it’s the only hotel in Etowah I’m giving out a two. They put us in a room that had floodlights shining into our space, and even with the blackout curtains, it kept the room somewhere light while trying to sleep. The bed was bad. When I went to take a bath, there was mildew around the edges. And for entertainment, while in the bath, I got to see a cockroach run across the floor. The lampshade had it’s binding falling off.

Took a trip up to the Dragon. This was a convenient place to spend the night. Very clean, very quiet, with a grocery store two doors down and Waffle house across the street

Right choice to stay in this town

The place was easy to find. In a great location near a few stores for necessary items, and several food places right by the motel also. For the price the place was above and beyond. The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Overall a great place to stay!

The rooms were clean. The hotel felt safe. The only issue was that the interior hallways outside our rooms smelled very strong of cigarette smoke. Definitely seems that people are smoking inside the building.

Disgusting

The room smelled of smoke when we walked in. Found a big bug on the floor. Told the attendant on the front desk. He said it’s a non smoking room and chuckled. Found the bed sheets were stained and the bed made a lot of squeaking.
