It smelled clean, but the blankets were wet, but they were dirty, and had alot of burn holes. there was dirt on the floor.

They gave us the cheapest room initially which was not shovelled and the parking was not near like the other half of the building. The sign also said it was a smoking room and it stunk of cigarette smoke. We asked for another room because it smelt like smoke and they said they are all non smoking rooms but gave us another room anyways. It was affordable and did the job though. The shower was also hard to work. You really had to pull on the shower valve for the water to fully go to the shower head and it took about 10 minutes for the water to heat up.

One lock on the door to the room i got was fake and the other, the deadbolt, was broken off. The only way i could secure my room was to barricade the door with chairs. On top of that, the hair dryer was also broken, and the window to the room was open a crack. Its a ground floor room, so that made me extremely uncomfortably. On top of that, the person at the check in desk was not very pleasant, so i didnt even feel comfortable asking for a new room. If i didnt need to stay here tonight, i wouldnt have.

Pleasantly surprised, as we brought our dog and were being given the dreaded “pet room”. It was cozy and updated nicely. The front staff was amazing and let us check 3 hours early. Friendly, clean, and across the street from one of the best steaks I’ve ever had!

Pet friendly. Quiet room. Fridge, microwave, full bathroom. Friendly staff on late check in with no issues. Would stay again. Would recommend.

How this property has the rating it has baffles me. My tip for staying at this property? DON’T! The first room they offered us - an upgrade apparently - stunk of cigarettes, film on the windows, full garbage cans from previous occupants and a tiny bed. The second room, on the surface looked ok, but upon going deeper it was actually a mess. Housekeeping is non existent. The water is brown, the toilet leaked at its base, AC wouldn’t turn off and had bare wires sticking out. We stayed our full eight nights because I really couldn’t afford to lose the money paid and then have to pay for a new hotel. In those eight nights the room was sort of cleaned once. The bed was made twice, and we only got fresh towels by going down and getting them ourselves. I’ve spent most of my working life sleeping away from home, so lots and lots of hotel/motels. This one is in the bottom three or four. I can’t emphasize enough what a disaster this property is.

I will look into the service aspect of the issues that you mentioned above. However, I checked the reservation. You stayed for 8 nights in the same room, with these issues. Did you mention to the front desk agents or management that you were not happy with the condition of the motel rooms? Instead, you decide to advertise your comments on Expedia. I am not trying to berate you or the situation. However, we would have gladly accommodated you, and if we couldn't make you happy. You had the option to cancel your reservation without any penalties. Good value for the price
First impression of the room - small but very clean and updated, had everything you need. Good value for the money. I would stay here again. Immediate service when I didn't know how to work the new tv. Pet friendly.

Hi Francine, I apologize for your experience during your stay. As you noticed during your stay, we are replacing the bricks around the hotel. This is going to take a few more weeks to complete. And then we are replacing all the common areas carpets. Again, I apologize for the state of the motel, but we are working to make it better.

The room was very small but suited my needs. It was clean and easily accessible. I can't comment on local amenities (other than that there was a Tim Horton's within walking distance LOL) because I was just on my way to another location

We stayed here due to an overbook at our original stay, the hotel was worth it. Beds were more comfortable, clean and when we arrived the gentleman said you have a room with a kitchen. We didn’t book one. Thinking it was a kitchenette, but no it was a full separate kitchen!!! Wow! And clean. We were up on the second floor it was quiet and we slept great, I would recommend!
