Don’t let the pictures fool you, this is nothing like what is shown on Expedia. Rooms are small. Lots of vagrants around. Would not book this hotel again!

I liked that the parking was up front and that the property had an elevator. I also liked that the room was nice and clean.

Seems like the bedding is not very clean and towel had hair on it. There was a motorhome/ RV Parker at the back.

For the price it was average. We just slept there, so no luxuries needed. There were a lot of fast food places to eat at, so that was nice. Having a refrigerator and microwave was nice.

Fine for a SHORT stay.

The Rooms were neat and clean. The Staff friendly. But the property itself is run down, the elevator smells bad.

Will stay again.

Silly, but the sheets actually smelled fresh and clean. Many places you stay, you know the sheet are clean, they just don't have that fresh smell. The floor in the bathroom and by the sink area were heated, what a treat. My only complant would be that the room was tight with a kingsize bed in it.

Naw Nope Never!

Its definitely thousand times better than Studio 6 San Ysidro. Really gross down at that location. And if you say anything, they give you the "take it or leave" attitude, which I usually leave because my health and safety is worth way more than $80 a night. I digresses, back to this location... Anyone can smoke ANYWHERE even on the cooridor IN FRONT of your NO SMOKING room. Cigarette and weed smoke coming through the room central system. I most definitely DID NOT feel safe after 6pm. Lots of sketchy folks in the hotel, around the place. The sheet smelt look like someone slept on it already and they just remade the bed with the same nasty sheet. Stained sheets, thin and stained towels, not clean really, floor grimmy if you wipe it yourself. I was told they are each rooms for about 45, but doing what? because the place is still dirty. Cathy the evening front desk is the worst I have ever encountered re customer care and service This place a health risk.

It had been remodeled. The room was small, but everything was very nice in the room. Escondido just has a lot of homeless walking around and it does make you feel unsafe and a bit uncomfortable.

Misleading name, it's just a Motel 6

I don't necessarily have an issue with this hotel, but I hope Hotels.com would just label this place as Model 6 as this place is. It's misleading to call it "Studio 6 Suites". There is no kitchen as most suites have. No shampoo or tissue.

There were loud people and music during the evening and into the night, the elevator was erratic, and when we came out in the morning, there were 2 cars smashed in the parking lot

First room AC didn’t turn on, we had reservations so we notified front desk before we left and we were told there’s nothing they can do if we didn’t switch rooms at that moment. Came back after our dinner, new clerk who helped us with no problem. Seems like a place that homeless people are housed, not sure how it has so many stars.
