Un gioiello nel centro della bellissima Erice. Appartamento bellissimo e accoglienza unica. Se avete la possibilità di visitare Erice considerate almeno una notte per viverla anche quando non è affollata di turisti e venite alle Antiche Pietre!

A true gem

Wonderful host helped us to park our car and then drove us to the apartment and carried our bags upstairs for us. The apartment is very comfortable and the basket of goodies provided generous and delicious. This is a beautifully planned space with many chafing and artistic touches. I hope to return with other family members one day.

Massimo, le propriétaire est absolument charmant et très attentionné , il vient vous chercher au parking à l'entrée du village interdit aux véhicules étrangers au village et vous transporte avec vos bagages . Logement très propre et à 2 mn de la place du village dans une rue très calme : bref excellent jf sinagra

Amazing historic building with a beautiful courtyard. The apartment was spacious and the bathroom was fine. Close to everything Erice has to offer. The best part is that Massimo was so kind and helpful from before we arrived to the time we left. A most gracious host! Bella Erice! You so t regret staying at Pietre Antiche.

Alle Wünsche erfüllt

Ein einwandfreies sauberes Appartement super gelegen im Zentrum von Erice. Das Apartment ist sehr schön hergerichtet in einem alten Steinhaus. Schlafzimmer, Bad und ein Wohnzimmer mit 'im Schrank' integrierter kleiner Küche. Alles nötige um zweimal zu frühstücken ist inbegriffen. Wir wurden bereits vor der Ankunft kontaktiert und von Massimo auf einen Parkplatz für den Wagen geführt. Er hat uns dann mit dem Gepäck ins Appartement und am Ende wieder zurück gebracht, super Service. Würden sofort wieder hier buchen.

Meet Massimo!

Massimo is the man! Without his help and his showing us where to park and then driving us into Erice and out the next morning, the medieval narrow streets would have intimated us completely. And we would have missed the magnificient views of the salt flats and the two converging seas- truly an awesome singular sight. His apartments are housed in a 15th century building beautifully modernized into very spacious, comfortable lodgings. So glad we stayed here, and you will be, too.

Ambiance, ambiance, ambiance! Even with all the modern amenities at your disposal, there's no forgetting that you're in a medieval Italian hill town. Thick walls, wood shutters, stone courtyard - everything comes together beautifully. We stayed in December and not only was our space toasty warm and cozy, but the courtyard and rooms were tastefully decorated for the holidays. The town itself was about to host a weekend Christmas Market and the piazza had been decorated as well. All said, with no crowds but all restaurants open, we found the off-season an ideal time to visit (though for access to the sites, a weekend may be preferable). Mossimo was in good communication (his English is excellent) with us and provided an array of helpful tips and information. The location is excellent. Don't worry about being too far from the parking area - it's not at all an issue.

Best Hospitality!

We absolutely loved staying at Erice Pierre Antiche. We were so comfortable in this great apartment in such an amazing historical city. I have to say that Massimo, our host, offered us the most gracious, helpful and kind hospitality of anyone we met in our 2 weeks exploring Sicily. He personally led us to our parking area and then drove us into and out of the tiny city center streets when arriving and departing. He answered phone calls, gave great advice and was cheerful and helpful when it rained. Thank you Massimo! You are terrific!

We loved this place! The location was perfect. It was a wonderful place to come "home" to after a busy day of being a tourist. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Erice, you won't be disappointed.

Incredible, fairy-tale adventure

An absolutely incredible experience! The apartment is cozy and well-maintained in a 500-year-old building, and is literally 30 seconds from the main plaza. Massimo was very helpful and accommodating, meeting us at the entrance to the town and leading us to parking and the apartment. Everything was perfect, and the highlight of our trip. Erice is must-see in Sicily, especially if the weather is good and the views are clear. Do yourself a favor and don’t rely on GPS; it probably will take you on a harrowing drive up the mountain on a road that may not be officially open. Instead navigate to Valderice and then navigate to Erice from there.

This apartment was magical, as was the entire city. The owner helped us get settled in this town high up on a mountain. The place is well located to all the major sights, and yet it is quiet and cozy. There is a terrace where we had lunch and shared a glass of wine. I can't imagine a better place in this town, one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily.

Massimo is a great host - met us at the main square late evening as it was getting misty - and drove us thro the perilous, narrow and steep street! The two apartments were perfect for a night’s stay. Also, he gave us good restaurant recommendations.
