Sasquatch River Retreat

Escape to the serenity of a secluded cabin right on a clear mountain river. Hear the soothing sounds of the rapids as you sit on the deck and eat a meal, cozy up by the outdoor fireplace, or relax in the large hot tub. The short winding stairs will bring you right into the small river so you wade in or try your fishing luck in the famous Fightingtown creek.

Inside you see the stone fireplace, a tree trunk in the middle of the cabin, a large kitchen with tons of real wood live edge counter space, a large fridge with front access filtered water/ice, a master bedroom with direct access to the deck, and a dual sink bathroom.

Upstairs you'll find the air hockey and dart board, an additional master bedroom with a walk in closet, vaulted ceiling, another dual sink jack and jill bathroom, and two cubby twin beds. This cabin has something for everyone who just needs to get away from it all. Let the sasquatch show you around as you experience this true all wood cabin with tons of personality

This cabin is a hidden gem close to Blue Ridge and McCaysville. Quaint and secluded but close enough to any amenities you possibly need. The covered back porch with the TV and gas fireplace were perfect on those chilly Blue Ridge nights. The hot tub was a perfect destination after the long days hiking to the many waterfalls in the area. The fire pit close to the creek made for a relaxing evening with all the sights and sounds of nature. Scott and Christine are phenomenal hosts and the cabin was in perfect condition with all the amenities you need for a weeklong stay. My husband and I enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back!

Nestled in the woods down a picturesque quiet road is this special gem! The cabin is even better than described on the site! As soon as we walked in the door, we felt right at home! Great views, relaxing deck overlooking the creek with a warm deck fireplace - This is where I spent most of my time as it was so peaceful! The woodwork and finishes inside the cabin were beautiful and with the fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, we didn’t have to run to town for something we forgot. Scott and Christine thought of every detail to make our stay relaxing! They were great hosts and kept in contact with us if we needed anything or had any questions! They even added an extra touch by recognizing our anniversary and my husband’s birthday! Thank you! We are so thankful we found the Sasquatch River Retreat!

Worst owners and condo experience ever. Regardless of Tim and Megan’s response know that it is not accurate and they do not take care of this Cancun property. Air washer dryer dishwasher patio glass railing elevators all broken in some fashion. With 8 floors up it is taxing to haul luggage up and down 8 flights of stairs. After the third day of no response to our continued issues we left neg review in hopes of fixing issues. Response was to Evict us with two hours to vacate 9 people because we posted a bad review. Ambushed upon returning from family pictures and told we don’t want to mess with them because we are in Mexico. I’ve been vacationing all over Mexico for 30 years and have never had this kind of reaction from an owner. Fix your condo issues instead of evicting because you don’t want to deal with issues.
