Such a cozy, quaint, perfect cabin! The location is perfect right along the creek for those of you who don’t like those mountain roads ! The owners are very communicative and nice to deal with (for lack of a better word). Very convenient to downtown blue ridge. Would definitely definitely stay here again. It’s just beautiful. Very Hansel and Gretle like. We loved it! And wished we had more time there.

One of the best stays we've ever had! Everything about this cabin was exactly the getaway we wanted for our anniversary. The cabin was clean and cozy and the hot tub was spotless! The cabin is perfectly placed between two towns where you can find anything you want within a 20 min or less drive. Blue Ridge has some of the best shops and eatery's and We can't stop thinking about Grace Prime Steakhouse. The owner of the property is over and beyond helpful and had so much great information about the area. Any questions we had they responded very quickly! We can't wait to return and enjoy another weekend in this wonderful place.

Great Cozy Cabin

This place is picturesque cabin. The views were spectacular. The cabin was cozy and the owners were great. It was a great place to spend time together as a family. You will not be disappointed.

Our stay at this cabin was simply magical. The place is beautifully designed, cozy, and perfectly equipped for a romantic getaway. Every detail made us feel at home, yet at the same time gave us the sense of being somewhere truly special.The location is perfect—close to charming spots and nature trails—yet peaceful enough to enjoy privacy and quiet moments together. The hot tub under the stars was an unforgettable highlight. Communication with the owners was excellent, warm, and reassuring, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.We couldn’t have asked for a better setting to create beautiful memories as a couple. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a romantic and unforgettable escape.

The cabin was clean and it was very nice being on the river. The hosts did a good job communicating as well. However, the home is in Epworth, not Blue Ridge. It’s about 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Further, it is not three bedrooms. There’s one downstairs bedroom with an upstairs split loft that has two beds and a bathroom. Also, it’s a bit tough to get to, so if you have a minivan or a smaller car it might be a bit tough, especially in rain or snow.

Amazing Stay

This was one of my favorite places to stay. We will be coming back 100% It was such a relaxing place to be in that beautiful backyard. The fishing was a blast.

Wonderful cabin on fightingtown creek

Cabin on the creek was a perfect getaway for our family of four. From the corn hole boards, to porch swings, hot tub with a relaxing view of the creek and fishing, this house has something for everyone. You will not want to leave!

Cozy

The best part about our stay was being next to the river and enjoying the fire pit under the stars. The cabin was very clean and the loft is perfect for kids. The beds were super comfortable, too. The porch swing and rocking chairs were favorite spots, too.

Everyone absolutely loved this place, and its only 5 mins to up and coming Mccaysville/Copper Hill historic district- great shops and restaurants wo all the crowd, and rite on the river.

Fantastic surprise getaway

Fall Break

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin immensely. Doug was so helpful when answering questions and giving us tips about local places to visit for hiking and eating. Some of our favorite activities were from his recommendations. The cabin and surrounding area is so picturesque. The calming sound of the water, the peaceful views, the hot tub, the campfire..it all made for a wonderful family trip. Thanks for the great memories.

Cozy Wonderland

We brought our grandparents to this property and it was just as wonderful as I had hoped. The fishing was top notch, the views were amazing, the location is just far enough to make you feel like you’re out of town and in your own world! We will be back here!

Wonderful Cabin

We had a great stay at this cabin. The place was immaculate and the setting was beautiful. The owner's are very easy to get in touch with and very quick to respond. As you go about the cabin you will see the they have truly put thought into everything....all the little details are tended too. We would definitely stay here again!

Rest after remission

After going through cancer treatment our little boy desperately wanted to just fish! So that’s what we did! This place was just what the doctor ordered! We got some much needed rest, fished, got in the hot tub and roasted tons of marshmallows 😊❤️

Wonderful Stay

Everything about the Cabin and Property was wonderful. Cabin was clean, Appliances were all in working order. View was fantastic. The only issue was my Car could not get out of the driveway without multiple tries. Would recommend something be done to correct the connection to the road. But i would stay again just for the View and Peace of the area.

Great cabin on the river

I'm always a little worried that the place never holds up to the pictures, but this place was spot on. River was right there, making it for easy fishing. Summer would be fabulous for tubing. Since it was cold, the fire pit was pecfect. It was a great cabin to enjoy the outdoors and relax. Would stay again.

Everything was great!! Exactly as pictured. We enjoyed fishing all day and then going to the Riverwalk in McCaysville right down the street to eat. We also enjoyed making smores by the fire. We will definitely be back!

Lovely Cabin in the Woods

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at River Mist Cabin. When we first arrived we found the road a little daunting, but with a four wheel drive vehicle we more than managed it. The cabin was cozy and well-appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable. Communication with the owners was excellent, and believe me when I say I asked them a number of questions and they were prompt in their replies and extremely courteous and understanding. Check in and check out was easy. I believe they have a little gem of paradise called River Mist Cabin.
