Spacious and Quiet 4BD Oasis - Private Yard

Stay in a newly refinished house that’s over 120 years old with the best location in a small town of Ephrata, large fenced in yard, and plenty of space for up to 10 guests!

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place.

First you’ll walk into our very large living area with a 50” smart fire TV with plenty of seating for the whole family. Into the kitchen where you’ll find everything you need to cook for short or long term stays. Right off the kitchen features a full bath with a walk-in shower. Just past the living room is a super spacious dining area with a large 6ft table to gather for meals! In addition, you’ll find a nice sitting area as well as our full size washer and dryer in the closet. Beyond the dining room is the back door to enter into our large fully fenced in backyard! Guaranteed a dog favorite!

Our second floor is situated with all 4 bedrooms. First, you’ll find a lovely queen bed with beautiful hand carved side tables! The second bedroom has a wonderful queen size rattan sleigh bed, sure to be a guest favorite! In this room we have a spacious closet and a beautiful hand carved dresser with a 32” Fire smart TV. Our third bedroom is another queen size bed with a gorgeous green accent wall as well as a spacious closet! Lastly, there’s a twin size trundle bed that’s perfect for kiddos or additional guests. On the second floor, you will find our second full bath with a tub-shower combo.

Our linens are hotel quality, the type that make you want to stay in bed! We provide the essentials so all you need to do is bring yourself and enjoy your trip!

***This home was built in 1900 and is not new construction. Our steps are steeper so we ask those who are traveling with elderly family members or struggle with steps at times to be cautious***

As others reviewers have said, the house is spacious and clean. The beds/linens were very comfortable. We were a family of 7 adults and we fit beautifully. Only wish we would have had more time at the house to utilize all the spaces, especially the backyard and fire pit. Recommend it wholeheartedly. The owner was very responsive as we worked out a reservation change in the system. It was wonderful. The stairs to 2nd level are very steep, but a sturdy banister and no problem for our crew ages 22-60.

House was as described in listing. House was very clean as were bedding & towels. What we noticed: upstairs bathroom door wouldn’t close completely or lock. Owner was quick to answer.

Nice Place!

The location of this property was perfect as it was central to all the places we wanted to visit. It is street parking only, so keep that in mind. We had three cars but didn’t have too much trouble finding parking spaces. It is dog friendly with a fully fenced in back yard. The only issue was that there is a space between the stair railings outside that a smaller dog could fit through. So we had to keep a close eye on our small pup. Still, it didn’t cause any issues. Just something to keep in mind! It was pretty clean and it had towels, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods, etc. So we didn’t have to do any last minute shopping for these kinds of items. Our room got very cold at night when we shut the door, but we were also there in December, so that’s not too surprising. The stairs are pretty steep! They are manageable though. All in all, it was a pretty nice space. Would recommend if you are looking for a dog friendly weekend trip get-away.

Spacious Inside

Property was clean and very spacious with extra amenities which was a nice surprise. I found the listing description to be accurate. The beds were comfortable and the linens were pristine. The spacious kitchen island was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the central air which kept the whole house cool!

Family gataway

We booked here for a family weekend getaway. We picked this place due to location of house being close to sight and sound, and the fully fenced in yard for my parents dog. House was clean, big island and table to fit all of our family around it, yard games, and made you feel right at home to enjoy your stay and make great memories.

Great house for stay in Amish country! Only issue was no private parking and have to park on street. But the interior of the home is awesome.

Nice House and a great place for bringing our dog

The house is very clean, the owner provides little things that make a big difference like enough toilet paper, extra garbage bags, wood for the fire pit, even had some snacks on kitchen counter. Answers any questions very quickly. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard. Lancaster, Lititz and Manhiem are very short drive away We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Home!

This home is meticulous, and would recommend for famililes with children and/or pets. We are an older couple and as stated the steps are very steep. We found the mattresses very hard and I am pretty sure they are full size, not queen size ... and like Goldilocks tried all three beds. We had backaches every morning. Younger folks probably wouldn't mind the hard mattresses. The yard is spacious and we enjoyed being able to spend some time outside. The grass was very high and our little dog almost disappeared in it. I would suggest to the owner having the grass mowed prior to folks staying. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and if we couldn't find another place to stay with our pet, would stay there again despite some of the discomforts.

Great Stay

My family and I absolutely LOVED this property! I rented the house for the weekend because we visited Dutch Wonderland and Hershey Park to celebrate my son’s 5th Birthday. There was more than enough room and the home is gorgeous! Location was perfect too. Haleigh, the owner was accessible, although we didn’t need her. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. If I come back to the Lancaster/Ephrata area, I will definitely book this home again!
