The house was fine but the dishwasher in the main kitchen was leaking with the first use. And the main kitchen garbage disposal was leaking under the sink and there was a small tray to catch the water

Pictures of the VRBO are misleading in that the outside of the building is in a state of disrepair. Garbage cans were full for two full days after we checked in. Grill was in terrible state and electric starter did not work. Response from host over the weekend related to concerns were not fully addressed until second day. I'd like to end on a positive note. My family did enjoy the stay as the inside of the house was more in line with description on VRBO website.

Great house for a family trip

We had a family trip here with all ages and it was the perfect house for a large group. So many beds and so much space to hang out together. We also loved the fenced in backyard with little kids. So close to everything you want to visit in Door County.

Door County

We enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent. The layout of the house well suited our group of 3 families with young children Lovely large backyard. Having 2 kitchens was a plus! I would say housekeeping could be a bit improved. For example the coffee pot had not been cleaned out, dust under furniture and a dirty entry rug.Also general upkeep as we encountered some very minor problems; door handle falling off, curtain rod brackets coming off the wall and broken kitchen utensils. In general things were very good and we would likely book again.

Great for large group!

We recently stayed with a large group and there was plenty of space and options for sleeping arrangements. It also had nice fenced in yard which was perfect for dogs and also to get away from the Main Street! The hosts were very responsive and helpful too. My only complaint is that we didn’t have garbage bags upon arrival. And it is on the expensive side - with additional up charges for pets and early check in.

Wonderful property for large group

The home had great space for our large family and was an excellent location to the town of Ephraim and Sister Bay. The two living spaces and kitchens were so convenient and stocked with necessities. The back yard was perfect for playing games and enjoying the fire pit. We had no issues, so didn't need to contact the owner, but communication was great leading up to our stay.

Vacation with Grandma

The house was perfect size for large group. Plenty of room for being together and still have some private space. Nice outdoor space as well. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Just a few suggestions to make improvements for next guests Highest level and upper level bathroom did not have toilet paper and not all bedroom had towelsin them. The highest level bathroom did not have lightbulb in the fixture. There were no garbage bags. 2nd kitchen no working coffee pot.

A little disappointing for the cost of our stay..

I was very disappointed that there was an inactive dish washer with mold in it.. the bottom sheet on our bed was not the right fit.. there were no wash cloths in the bathrooms.. the outside of the windows and doors were very dirty… it was a good location and we really enjoyed the backyard.

Family Gathering

First, this property was absolutely perfect for our group. Layout and room for all of our group was outstanding. Loved the yard, deck and patio. Would give a rating of 3.5 vs. 3 if could. I gave the rating I did for the following reasons: - grill grates we’re not clean ( I burned off and wire brushed) - floors appeared to have not been damp mopped (dirty socks and feet) - entrance (front) and exit (back) needed sweeping (we did this) - needs vacuuming under couches The balance of the property was spotless (bathrooms, kitchen, rooms) Also: - dishwasher in the main kitchen does not work (some dishes and glasses in cupboard were dirty) - garbage disposal in main kitchen needs a rubber cover so water doesn’t shoot out when use -bed in first floor bedroom by the kitchen needs a mattress pad like the other beds. Saying all of the above, our stay was great and we would rent again. Hope this helps

Just what we needed

The property was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Location was perfect for us. We had 9 children from 3-17, and 8 adults. There were plenty of common areas where we could gather, and the back yard is enormous. We brought a small soccer goal and the kids played laser tag. We ate outside most evenings, lots of cooking on the grill. Minor issues dealt with promptly by management. All in all, a great week. I would recommend this property to other families.
