Being Kerry, one needs to be prepared for all weathers. This house very well suited to sitting in for hours -days where that weather forbids going out. 「The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay.」

「Our week’s stay at the cottage was very pleasant and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the sheep and the scenery from the cottage was beautiful. We had difficulty finding the cottage as there are no road names and after an overnight flight from Toronto and then a four hour drive from Dublin the directions didn’t work on our phone. 「Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei unserer Ankunft am frühen Abend war schon der Kühlschrank gefüllt für Abendessen und Frühstück! Der Garten ist groß und sehr schön und liebevoll gestaltet. Ideal auch für Familie mit Kindern! Die Heizung hat super und schnell funktioniert und ebenso problemlos der offene Kamin!Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.」
