The name "Halvø" comes from the Danish word for "peninsula," honoring the heritage of Johan Brendt Eliason, a Danish immigrant who settled in Door County in the mid-1800s. Originally misspelled as “Ellison,” this name became an integral part of local history and a lasting tribute to its Danish roots.
Halvø Home offers a beautifully designed, accessible space with 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 luxurious bathrooms. Enjoy restful nights in the main bedroom with a king bed, a second split-king bed (with adjustable settings and remotes for custom comfort), and two additional queen beds, providing sleeping arrangements to accommodate every need.
