They advised no rooms were available then when I pushed back they advised I can get an early check in for $20 - which meant there were rooms.
I paid $20 to get into the room 1 hour earlier to get ready for a concert even though I had 2 rooms booked. When I advised I was Gold with Expedia they advised this was their policy.
The only other suggestion I have is when there are major concerts going on in the city it would be nice for the hotel to have a shuttle (for a cost) to take people to and from the venue as the hotel is a ways from the stadiums. "
"This is a really nice property, however, we had some issues. We never received the check-in information that we were supposed to receive two hours before check-in so we were not able to access the property until we were able to contact the host. Once we contacted him, we were in quite quickly. It was obvious that the floors were not as clean as they should have been as there was some debris on the floors. The biggest issue came when we went to go to bed. The sheets were not clean. They had obviously been slept in so we had to wash the bedding before we could go to bed. I contacted the host the next day and provided him with pictures but I was never provided with a satisfactory response. The other big issue was the garbage. When we arrived the garbage bin outside right beside the garage was overflowing and animals were scattering it around every day. The smell was terrible. I spoke to the host twice about this and was told it was registered with the city but obviously no one put out the bin on garbage day probably for quite some time. No one ever came to take care of the mess. When we realized it was garbage day, we put the bin out even though it was not our garbage. There was enough dinnerware for 8 but there was silverware for only 4 people and no ovenware. Other than these issues our stay was okay."
