We rode a horse from #cochiguaz in the #Elquivalley or #valledelelqui, with the sunset in our back while we head straight towards the moon. This is the view when the sun finally left us to hide among the mountains. If you want a truly remarkable experience contact Felipe from camping ganimedes in cochiguaz, he is a local horse breeder who knows the area like the back of his hand, is really fun and interesting to talk to and makes a mean queso de cabra asado (grilled goats cheese). #goldenhour don't tell us we didn't tell you :)
This little beauty was our favorite pass to the other side of Rio Cochiguaz. Accessible from the driveway of Camping Cochiguaz it leads to an informal pathway cut into the side of the dry mountains to explore this cactus-clad terrain. Be sure to make the walk of you find yourself in the area. The manager at Camping Cochiguaz can point you in the right direction if you have trouble finding it- it is a little hidden. #chile #elquivalley #walks
