"Pros: Just wanted to let you know how happy we were with our vacation rental. Three couples shared this home and we were all very comfortable. It was clean, had great wi-fi, a nice pool and the caretaker was very helpful. The owner was very prompt at responding to our inquires due to our inability to speak Spanish. "Since 2014, Olé Adventures has been organising Spanish language immersion retreats for adults, and this time we had the pleasure of staying at El Triguero. What an incredible find!This beautiful patrician house is full of charm and history. The rooms are spacious, each with its own bathroom and air conditioning, making the stay very comfortable. The living areas, kitchen, and lounge are very generous in size, with a lovely fireplace and beautiful traditional decor. The gardens are absolutely stunning — a riot of colour with blooming flowers, fruit trees, and peaceful corners that make you feel like you’re living inside a painting. The property even has its own charming chapel, adding a lovely historical touch.We made excellent use of the swimming pool during our five-day stay, as the weather was perfect. We also enjoyed the table tennis and the large pitch for badminton and football.What truly made the experience special were the hosts, Carmen and Jose. They are genuinely warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. Carmen even helped us prepare a delicious paella for the whole group (10 people)! Their kindness and hospitality were outstanding.A huge thank you to Anneli and Eduardo for maintaining El Triguero so beautifully — keeping its traditional character while making it modern and welcoming.We all left completely enchanted by this hidden gem. I’m already planning our next retreat here!Gracias y volveremos pronto!"

"Incredible. As gorgeous as it looks, the staff is amazing, and the dinner at the restaurant here was the best we had on the entire 3 week trip. Miles and miles of easy walking trails along the river past ancient flour mills. The property is a bit in need of another update, but the price reflects that and could surely be double. Outstanding and an amazing value."

"Quaint, lovely boutique hotel in a charming town. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced at $8 per person. As expected with a boutique property, the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty, and free parking is located several blocks up the hill. You can stop in front of the hotel to load and unload your belongings, which is convenient. Staff is not present 24/7, but they do provide an emergency phone number if anything comes up, which adds some reassurance."

"Quiet rural location, located between Arahal and Moron de la Frontera. Good location if you plan to visit Sevilla and want to spend the evenings away from the big city. Host was very friendly and responsive to all questions. We were off season and only issue was the debit of the water heater. "
