We absolutely loved our stay at the Steigenberger Golf Resort. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff truly made our stay special. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. A special thank you to Narmeen at reception, who was incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast and buffet were fantastic, with a great variety and excellent quality. The kitchen and restaurant teams were amazing — from the chefs to the waiters — and they went out of their way to make sure my kids were happy and well taken care of. The golf course is really nice, and my husband and son absolutely loved spending time there. The whole resort has a very relaxing vibe, perfect if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful getaway. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely return and recommend this resort to families and golf lovers alike.

The Golf course and its easy access in walking distance is superb. Also for novices! Fully recommended! El Gouna itself by TucTuc is nice to see, given the fact that it is completely artificial. We will be back soon. :-)

This resort represents the pinnacle of my vacation experiences to date. The accommodations were exceptional, featuring spacious, modern, and technologically advanced rooms with stunning views, all impeccably clean and quiet. The staff were exceptionally friendly and approachable. Be advised that the exceptional, abundant, and high-quality food options may contribute to weight gain. A beautiful resort at the El Gouna lagoon. We were there with our two children, and even though it‘s a Golf Resort we were impressed about how friendly everyone was. We loved the view, heated Swimmingpools, Golf Court and the glass boat trip. They have a well Equipment gym and the Food was exquisite.

I recommend this hotel very much. Very friendly staff. Very clean rooms and a lots of technology in the rooms. The bar tender at the swimming pool (Bassem ) was very nice. And the life guards were very awesome ( Khalil) was very helpful and very friendly.

We spent 4 nights at the Steigenberger Golf Resort El Gouna and felt very welcome and safe. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The entire resort complex is beautifully designed and well maintained. The rooms are beautifully furnished and offer everything you need. We particularly liked the aromatized SPA with the heated pools, the dry saunas and steam saunas and the loungers. To our surprise, this unique SPA was not very busy. The breakfast buffet was also varied, fresh and delicious. The breakfast room is very large and there is enough space, both inside and on the outside terrace. We will come again!

Great hotel

The hotel is great and very nice. Hotel area is really good with a lot of beach chairs. The rooms are very comfortable and big. Food was good, breakfast was nice. Some of the things that we didn’t like: The reception was under staffed. We always had to wait for a long time just to ask questions. They really need a concierge area. Tuk tuk system to get out of the hotel could take a while some days. Time consuming. No taxi system. Gym needs improvement for sure.

Pros: Good hotel, Food is perfect, New renovated hotel, Staff is helpful. Cons: Reception staff is not professional enough, calling reception from room is a nightmare, reception is mostly occupied and in a small area, SPA is very expensive and not professional at all, Beach bed is muddy, slippery and not good at all Pool bars serve only beverages, no snacks permitted!! No night entertainment!!

This was my first time staying at Steigenberger, and while there were some positive aspects, overall, my experience did not fully meet expectations. To begin with, the hotel grounds are expansive and beautifully maintained. I particularly enjoyed taking long walks across to the nearby island, surrounded by serene golf fields and a peaceful atmosphere. The gym is compact but reasonably well-equipped, and the breakfast selection was generally good. However, I was disappointed by the pastry station, which lacked freshness and flavor in my opinion. I also would have appreciated a wider variety of fresh fruits, as most options were canned or in syrup. Unfortunately, there were a few service issues that negatively impacted my stay. I waited over 15 minutes for assistance with my luggage on my departure, and only after calling reception a second time did a porter arrive. Later, when I asked to store my luggage safely for an hour while I enjoyed lunch before departure, I was surprised to find it was left outside in direct sunlight. Some of my belongings were heat-sensitive, and when I requested help from a porter to move them indoors, he ignored me and simply pointed to where it was. I eventually carried the bag in myself and voiced my concern to the front desk. Communication was occasionally challenging, as several staff members seemed to struggle with English, despite my efforts to keep my requests simple and clear. That said, I would like to compliment Madona for her outstanding
