"The beds and pillows are fine for a short stay, but still very firm even by Spanish standards. The power tripped in the middle of the night so this meant all of our fans went out, which woke everyone up - property doesn't have AC. It was an easy fix and out of the owner's control, but I would suggest AC units to them, as it did get very warm even with the fans on (We stayed in late June 2023). For the night, it fit our needs perfectly - price, location, and having 3 bedrooms was a huge plus so...

No es fácil de encontrar alojamientos así, donde dueño, Manuel es una persona real, la casa es una casa de su familia con su historia, el lugar es auténtico y además todo está muy bien cuidado, pensado y explicado. Hemos estado muy cómodos, hicimos caso a todas las sugerencias de Manuel :) Cons: nos ha encantado todo!"

"Het vinden van een huis waar een familie met 4 stellen, 7 volwassenen tussen 29 en 65 en 3 kinderen uit 2 gezinnen tussen 5 en 10 jaar het 15 dagen heel fijn kan hebben is niet eenvoudig. Onze enorme villa aan de Calle Poleo nº 17, Urbanización La Paca in Alhaurín el Grande bood alles! Het zwembad, de BBQ, de grote speelkamer, een apart huisje voor de kinderen (met 2 verdiepingen), genoeg inventaris voor 10 mensen, veel ruimte voor samen en even afzonderen. En genoeg te beleven in de omgeving. Alles klopte! Kortom, wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad!De aandacht en hulp van Mari en Antonio was geweldig. Niet opdringerig maar altijd bereikbaar en supersnel en oplossingsgericht. Bovendien was het binnen en buiten echt super schoon. Ook fijn.Heel veel dank!"

"Positives. The apartment was well equipped (kitchen and bathrooms) and clean. There was parking available right outside and the check in instructions were clear and straightforward. There were ample heating and cooling options. Negatives There was no ability to access the balcony, which was advertised in the pictures and would have been a nice social space as there was no lounge area inside. The pillows were very uncomfortable and hindered a decent night's sleep. The lack of power points near the beds meant the bedside lamps didn't work and also not ideal for charging devices etc. The worst element for us was the building noise next door. While I appreciate this was not the fault of the Hostal, the apartment was uninhabitable from 8.30am for the majority of the day and some advanced notice (clearly the works had been going on a while) would have been appreciated as we could have made other plans."

The rooms are beautifully designed—spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and blending modern comfort with traditional Spanish charm. The beds are comfortable, the showers are excellent, and everything feels carefully curated. The location is perfect, right in the peaceful village of Tolox, nestled within the stunning Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. It’s an ideal base for hiking, exploring the mountains, or simply unwinding in a quiet, scenic setting. One of the highlights is the atmosphere—calm, relaxing, and intimate. Whether you're coming back from a long hike or just enjoying a slow morning, it’s the kind of place that helps you truly disconnect. Highlights: Exceptional host hospitality Stylish, clean, and comfortable rooms Perfect location for hiking and nature Peaceful, authentic village setting Bottom line: A hidden gem in southern Spain. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting."
